For a display not bad the kashira on katana is bent looks good but extremely dull

NOPE NOPE NOPE. The swords are not worth that price. I had two swords (only one now) which had the same tsuba, "metal" parts on the scabbard, fittings and say material wrapping for the handle and segeo. Not saying they are s**t. They are amazing show pieces but do not go cutting with them. They will bend or break. They are held by a nut and screw at the end of the handle. If hit too hard this nut can come loose and your sword will be rendered useless. The weld stops right at the tsuba. Its full tang yet its a thin skinny piece of metal. The blade may rust if it isn't true carbon steel and is just stainless steal. If the price was lowered to say, $29, it wouldn't be that bad of an investment. Also this sword set is available on the sight where its described to be stainless steel, further proving my statement. Thumbs up to True Swords for at least being honest with it's consumers

These swords are good for display but terrible for practice.First these swords are not full tang at all, second they are not sharp at all. i don't recommend you get this set if you want to practice with them but i do if you want to display them.

As a display it is excellent even though the sheaths are plastic and the blades are not sharp, for the money a good buy. It is a pleasure to do business with BudK. They are courteous and professional whether you are buying, returning or replacing and that is important in my estimation. I have other items from them and am thoroughly satisfied.

Great set!!! Reviewed by John Maki on Mar 21, 2013   4 out of 5

This set is a great buy. The swords come a little dull and the sheath is made of plastic, but it has a sturdy build. The stand for them is kinda hard to assemble but a little elbow grease fixes that. Also, the handles stink when you first get them cause they are in styrofoam. It is still worth the money.
