Blade is cool, Handles a bit too long. The Whole sword wobbles. Feels like it will break if hits someting. Need a real name for this sword! all in all nice sword for the price!
just got this sword and its pretty night, really light. One thing that I didn't like was this sword is really wobbly and it bent a bit to the right. Also it feels like if i swung this sword it will fall apart. I'm also afraid if I try to cut something, the blade itself (even though its Carbon steel) would break. If there are any other reviews that would tell me deffer I would LOVE to hear.
P.S What is the Real and FULL name of this type of ninjato? please let me know.
I was expecting more of this sword; the blade is weak, too thin and waddles a lot, creaks at the tsuba and feels like is going to fall apart. The handle is a bit longer than a regular katana but this is not a katana, it is a ninjato, a stabbing weapon and, for the same reason should have a strong blade. All ninjato swords are supposed to be black from head to toe for concealment, so they are not supposed to be for decoration; this one is sober, as it should be but I would not try to cut anything with it either.
This sword is great. I got it and straight out of the box I went and sharpened it. I ended up sanding off the black finish because I prefer it to look silver rather than black. It has held up to all of the tests that I put it up to and has only slightly bent once which I promptly fixed. The only reason I would give it a 4 star instead of 5 is because when I got it, it had 2 sharpie marks on it and it took forever to sharpen.
Not bad for the price, quality seems to be more improve since the reviews ive read for this sword. A few noticable scratches upon arrival barely noticable.Sword is not full tang but functional but i probably wouldnt do more the just swing it around for drills and exercise buts of its nice weight. Havent had any problems with mine. Id say its a buy from my experience with it.
Wow this thing is long. Longer than a normal Katana by a full hand with. Blade is weak and the Tsuba is not affixed well, shakes and rattles. Show peice and a big one at that. Interesting.
this is a nice sword for its price. it looks a little awkward because the blade is an inch or 2 shorter than it seems like it should be. also, be ready to wipe some gunk for the blade when you draw it. bottom line, best for display
I'm not gonna say anything about "great sword for the price". the blade is a little thin and the handle is kinda long but I like it, very light and sturdy for such a thin blade, the sword wobbles inside the case so I wouldn't recommend carrying it around other than on your waste, over all cool sword not great but cool, I bought a black single table top stand for it and put it on my shelf. Also feels nice when I am holding it and glides through the air with great everything you would want when swinging.
A nice looking sword, but I found it a bit weak, I practiced with this sword once, 5th swing in AIR (Never struck anything with it) and the sword bent at the tsuba. I suggest this be a display only sword.
Very nice looking and feels very good in the hands. Would get a five if the blade had more width.
