Smith & Wesson HRT Tactical Boot Knife

I have a lot of double edged knives, even a WWII British Commando SikesBayne trench knife which I consider the best but this Smith & Wesson boot knife is right up there with it. Though not as long, it still is an Awesome blade & is very strong. It's heavy handle & textured grip helps with handling it. Also has a sharp point & sides which most boot knives don't have but is much appreciated. Im going to use it for EDC because of it's size & usefulness & I recommend that everyone get one.

I have bought a few cheaper brands and none came close to this one. It came sharp and is easy to keep that way. The clip on the sheath causes it to ride a little high but that has been the case with every boot knife I have owned. I own several other S&W knives and have always been happy with them.

Here in CA, we are limited to single-edged blades for street carry. This is what make this product tops on my list. A few strokes with a Smith hone brought the sharpness level to "keen." The sheath could use some work, but for waistband or "string-sling" carry, it's not bad. A good value for the money!

Just right for clipping inside my boot.Not as sharp as I'd have liked but adequate. The handle design is right for quick retrieval in case of self defense circumstances.

This is a very good knife, it has a very good feel and the balance is very good. Only one side is sharp, but that does not make it any less than a great knife.

This is only my third boot knife, but it's by far the best. It came with a decent edge, but was easy to sharpen. The sheath is high quality and the knife fits snugly. You don't even need the clip to keep it inside. This is one of smith and wesson's greater knives.

The knife lived up to the S&W name. Handle is both rigid and comfortable. The knife holds a fine edge and I have sharpened both sides. Worth the money.

Absolutely love this knife. Picked it up from Cabela's today and it is amazing. First off, it is not double edged even though it looks that way, which is a plus because it makes it legal in wider selection of states. Plus it's full tang. It says on the package that it's made of 7cr13mov high carbon steel but says 440c on here? The leather sheath is great! Only problem is that it is a little tight at first(it loosens with use. Highly recommend this knife to everyone! Don't hesitate, hit add to cart NOW!!!

i bought this knife thinking that since it was 20$ it wasn't going to be that good, but since its S&W i gave it a shot. this is the best knife you can get for 20$ new and the knife is well balanced and razor sharp. it looks as good as it is and makes a great throwing knife too. i have not had to sharpen it yet even after a month of using. great knife, highly recommend it.

Beautiful and sharp, well made sheath with heavy duty stitching. Steel clip is rigid and seems of good quality. I have no complaints and completely satisfied, but confused about only onething. How is this boot knife so cheap yet made so well. Great buy.

A beautiful close quarter self defense weapon. Powder coated, beautifully shaped dagger with single sharp edge (will cut hair) and dull counter edge so you dont cut through thumb snap when sheathing. Handle is form molded and sturdy, suitable for large hands but slightly awkward depending on preferred grip. Overall length of knife is perfect. Sheath is leather with heavy stitching and extremely well made, clip is riveted in and strong. Overall A-

Really enjoyed the knife it us beautiful and sharp but had issues with the clip.. Purchased it to fit my cowboy boots but the way the clip is it just slides off or rubs the ankle with other boot types... plus if pants are pulled over the clip isnt strong enough and just slides off the boot..

When I purchased I thought it was double edge, it was not. and when you put the knife in the sheath it dulls the blade because of how tight it is. but it is a good quality knife.

I love this knife. I have had many boot knives and this is my favorite. Perfect size weight and grip. Sure the coating will wear off but that just goes with using it. The best thing going for it other that it being a great brand name and made to S & W's quality is the sheath. Perfect boot sheath and great clip. I'm thinking of buying another just for the future.

I got this knife from a local gun store and i really like it! good size, weight and balance, holds a good edge, grips very well due to the molded rubber handle. only downfall is the black coating will wear off, not a deal breaker though! really nice knife!

Great quality on both knife and sheath. BUT...due to clip placement and handle length it rides too high on boot or waist to be used conveniently. Really like this item but won't carry it!!

Slightly disappointed, " boot clip" is located too low on the sheath. Knife itself is excellent, Just sticks out of the top of my boot too far.I would have to pull my pant leg over my knee to get the knife out of the sheath.
