  • Easily fits in pocket
  • Coarse tungsten carbide rods on one side
  • Fine ceramic rods on other side
  • Lanyard hole

Smith's 2 Step Knife sharpener features two tungsten carbide blades with pre-set angles to ensure the perfect edge every time. Three or four strokes through the carbide sharpening slots will restore the edge on a very dull knife. The two crossed ceramic rods also have pre-set angles and provide a smooth finish edge to already sharp knives. It's lightweight, portable, comes with a lanyard hole, and has non-slip rubber feet for added safety.

Mangled my blades

The course side of my sharpener came with nicks in the metal. I tried two Pakistani steel blades in it anyway and it did put an edge on them but it's a very uneven and unsightly edge. The ceramic side doesn't seem to do much of anything. This will be going in the bottom of my bug out bag for emergencies only.

It's great!

I've been collecting knives for a few years and in all that time I've never used anything to sharpen my knives other than a sharpening rod, and this little guy makes things so much easier. No more need to worry about whether you're angling the blade too much or not enough (This was an issue for me whenever I first used the sharpening rod), this sharpener does it just right for you! And for as cheap as it is, even if the sharpener was crap (Which it's not, lemme tell ya) it's only a couple of bucks down the drain, nothing too serious.

Smiths Knife Sharpener 2 Step

Don't wait until your knife needs to be reground to sharpen it-this little gem will do it for you whenever you need to touch up the edge. If you got lazy and waited too long, team this item up with Smiths Arkansas Sharpening Stone w/Pouch Item #40 SMMP4L and you will be able to attend to needs far afield or at home.

great knife sharpener. sharpens anything that fits in there. for those who don't know, you pass it through the coarse side to get rid of the small nicks and bumps in the blade then pass it through the fine side to smooth it over.

it gets the job done. Its not an amazing sharpener, but for what it is it works wonderfully. A cheap sharpening solution.

Smith's knife sharpener

Works great, small size permits anywhere-carry. I sharpened a machete to a fine edge and then sharpened a straight razor to a ... well ... razor sharp edge

This sharpener is very very very small it can fit in my palm, but it does its job.

This item was smaller then i thought it would be but it works great. Just be careful sharpening longer blades as the small size makes it easy to tip over.
