Research

I wouldn't recommend paying attention to Will's review. If you were to do your research, you would find that while this isn't an exact replica of Richard's sword, it's similar, and it looks absolutely nothing like Tizona (El Cid's sword).

Nice sword, wrong kingdom...

Very nice for an affordable wall-hanger, but this is actualy a 'replica' of the sword of El Cid (11th century), Not Richard I (12th century). The ricasso shield is the royal COA of Castile and León (Northern Spain), & wasn't used untill the 13th century. El Cid was a minor nobleman, & military leader, but not royalty. So, other than those minor points, it's a great replica! ;)
