18 1/2" Damascus steel blade with two deep blood groovesWire wrapped handle accented with Damascus guard and pommelIncludes black leather sheathMeasures 24" overall length
Inspired by the ancient Bowie knives carried along the Khyber pass, an integral part of the Silk Road, this dramatic replica is done in premium Damascus steel. The mesmerizing Damascus patterns ensure that each piece truly is one of a kind, as no two blades will appear exactly the same.
The Damascus steel construction continues to the handsome guard and pommel, and a heavy stainless wire-wrapped handle completes the design. It provides a firm grip and adds even more authenticity to this historically accurate reinterpretation of the storied Khyber Bowie. A black leather scabbard houses the 18-1/2"" blade. It has commanding presence at 24"" in overall length.

Very well wrapped and protected in the box. Excellent looking Damascus knife/sword and decently heavy blade. Although listed as knife, could be a short sword. Came sharp enough for me. A little hard to get in and out of the sheath (good quality) at first but seems OK now, Keeping it well oiled since I live in a tropical area.
