US 1942 Combat Knife & Sheath

The quality matches that of the KA-BAR brand, and it fits perfectly in a KA-BAR sheath. I am 100% satisfied and I am truly glad to have it!

I was pumped when it cam in the mail. I opened the box and the knife came in ONE PIECE. The hand guard was slightly loose, NOTHING a drop of super glue didn't seal. I purchased it off onek of their free shipping emails for a WHOPPING $10 (Compared to the $79.99 KABAR). This BIG, BAD BOY ... ROCKS!

Mine came out of the box razor sharp so I ordered another one straight away.

This knife is great for the price. The handle is mostly solid, but removable if one chooses to do so. I bought this knife to modify, since I would hate to pay for a Ka-Bar and have to change it. Surprisingly great quality for the price. The but cap/pommel is pot metal instead of steel. Well worth the price, especially if you are planning on cutting down the guard, handle, or blade and don't want to invest in a more expensive knife.

This is a decent knife. It does not have the stacked leather handle like the ones issued or the K-Bar. However, I will say this is a nice knife. I found one similar to this many years ago. This is every bit as good as you will find. I have carried a Gerber for over 20 years, will carry no other pocket knife. BUY THE KNIFE. You will not regret it.

For the price, it was a good deal. It's not a K-Bar. It took time to get a good edge on it. The pummel fell out and I needed to fix it. The stone is a bit to coarse. It feels good and everything has been taken care of. If I lose it in the field, I'm not out a ton of money.

As an inactive Marine, I wanted a K-bar for my collection. This 1942 edtion was a good find for $13.00. Not as good as my military issued K-bar but I'm satisfied with my purchase.

I'm very happy with this knife(i got it in the combo with the marine tanto machete), but today i encountered a problem with the end carp and am currently tightening it up again with a strong adhesive. hopefully it works. Good knife.

I was excited when i saw this cause i have an original one of these that was my grandfathers. But it was in bad shape. So i saw this one for cheap figured id pick it up. Overall the blade seems strong. But the handle and sheath are garbage. The end cap was loose when i got it. The sheath is poorly made and the snap to hold the knife in place was way too small. I tried to stretch it to get it to fit and it snapped right in half. If you want a nice display piece get this. If you want a knife to actually use spend the money and get something else.
