The knife is great for the price, very sharp and cool looking. The fact that it was bogo made it even better. However, one sheath works well while the other won't keep the knife in place. But again since you get two for under $10 how can you complain.
the blade it's self is great but the sheath is the only let down.you can do what ever you want to repair it but it's backwards and is not locked to your belt or pants.the serrations are just there but me and Mr lansky took care of that.a little sharpening put it at 100%. got it on a 2fer so I'm good.get one before their gone.
Single edge knife with excellent edge and point; the serrated back edge, by comparison, is just for looks.
Grip is good for large hands.
Sheath is looser than I would like and the mechanism doesn't seem to be adjustable. All-in-all the blade is excellent with a good hard sheath. My favorite blade as far as looks go.
The unusual design made me want to add it to my karambit collection. Mine came sharp enough for me and the sheath hasn't separated. It does take a little getting used to since it doesn't draw straight out of the sheath, but I can live with that.
Got this a few months ago but forgot to write a review (oops) but I gotta say, this knife is pretty amazing. I love how it looks and the design is really cool. All black, makes you feel dangerous. This is one of those blades that screams "not too be messed with", Came nice and sharp and is undoubtedly my favorite knife in my collection. Id highly recommend this!
The blade was near perfection for the price. The reverse curve blade was sharp out of the box (split my thumb touching it). The serrated side needed about 45 strokes with a serrated blade sharpener to meet my standards. My issue with this knife is the two part sheath. It splits apart at all non-riveted points upon drawing the blade. with the sharpness of the blade it would be a dangerous blind draw. Also as previously stated, the clip is subpar. There could have been several ways to approach this sheath better. 1)A molded sheath with clip being separate 2) 4 or five more rivet points and a separate clip. Due to the odd shape of the knife I think I'll be hard pressed to find another functional sheath. I guess I'll use it for camping trips. Definitely not for self defense, quickdraw situations!
This knife is ok but the sheath sucked. The knife came with sum what of an edge and I had to sharpen it but after I sharpened it was razor sharp. The serrated part at the top is useless. This knife is good for the money. Thanks budk.
This knife is super dull and isn't even serrated. It just look serrated, you can rub your thumb on it and it won't cut you. This knife is a great design but that's about it. Even the sheath is really bad, it opens from the bottom part. This knife would be great only to cut warm butter. Other than that I would not recommend this knife to anyone.
Sturdy and basically a good design. Its dull as a popsicle stick out of the box but can be sharpened. Reverse curve blade for a karamit is good for slicing action. And the serrated top part of the blade makes it useful as a come-along, but will not cause serious wounds without a major effort. The big problem is the back-wards ergonomics of the sheath for right-handed people. This characteristic eliminates this knife as a personal defense unit. It is literally impossible to draw this karambit from this sheath with a proper karambit grip (reverse grip) if you are right handed. And even if you are left-handed, the sheath belt-hook is so rounded that instead of keeping the scabbard on your belt where it belongs, your draw will pull it off and it will slide off your belt with the knife leaving you to render an embarrassing presentation. These are stupid problems and proof that the makers had no idea what they were doing. Skip this item.
I like this knife.Though the blade wasn't as sharp as i'd prefer,it was easy to get there. The sheath was good.It fits well in my hands with a good feel.I also like the slim profile. When practicing,i've noticed that the butt end can also be used as a blunt force striker.Overall, pretty good.Gonna get another one.
Looks great in the pictures... Dull out of the box (both edges), horrible ergonomics and a sloppy sheath. On the up-side; it's relatively inexpensive, heavy-duty and if you are handy, all of the deal-breakers are fix-able. To render it useful you will need to reprofile and sharpen both sides of the blade, make some pretty major modifications to the handle, coat all of your work with Duracoat and mold yourself a decent kydex or leather sheath (I did kydex). If you are NOT handy, buy the DarkOps Vendetta.
As far as looks go, it is pretty. Fits in the hand well and maneuvers fine. But the edge is what was lacking. The saw is useless, the point is incredibly dull, and the curved edge needed work. I sharpened it and it retains and edge well, but I believe it will perform much better as a skinning knife rather than the self defense weapon it was marketed as.
First of all I really like the sheath, easy to conceal that can be clip on anywhere. The blade was sharp not razor sharp, but it's fine the serrated edge was kinda dull from the black oxide coating.Overall it's a good knife to own/carry, for self defense and very light weight...
I was really excited to buy this knife. It was a unique design and i like those kinda knives. So I open the box and the point catches my eye. The point was pretty much a square, the cutting edge was dull and the saw was useless. Now i am going to sharpen up the knife, just a little disappointed.
