Yeah so I got a set and I wasn't expecting a whole lot for $5 honest. I've been throwing for about a year and I lost my last knife awhi. Bought these cuz they were cheap and cuz they looked to be excellent CQC daggers. They came roughly ground and the burrs nullified whatever edge they had (Not that I'd slice with a tip like that) but the point was great and likely capable of piercing even sheet metal. Unfortunately these knives bent fairly severely, not at the tip like most throwing knives but between the handle and blade. This was after about 4 throws to a very thin softwood target (In the blades defense these were fairly bad throws because I'm slow to compensate new knives). I know I got what I paid for but the bend was just from out of left field. Other than that they were decently balanced, and had a likeable weight. My issue is how could that bend get ther after so few throws.
These were the first throwing knives I've ever bought. I enjoy throwing them in my room and they do stick to wood well. The only thing is the tips bend easily and i got one that had a chip off the tip so it wasn't sharp but it still stuck in cardboard. Over all great starter knives.
I bought 3 sets not for throwing but for short 4 foot spears. Hope you keep them in stock.
All and all. 5$ with a large purchase i was saisfied. They are small but cant beat the price.
I think these throwers are great! They were razor sharp! I carry one at all times in my purse or in my boot. I've been buying knives etc from BUDK for several years, just about every month! LOVE this site! Karen -
the knives themselves are pretty nice, pretty sharp.
my problem is with the case. i ordered two, on one the knives came in paper, in a plastic bag in the sheath, the other just had the paper.
two of the knives with the paper had already stabbed through the sheath during shipping.
and when you take a knife out, good luck getting it back in.
it could poke out the end, and stab you if you have it on your belt.
