Bought this as a graduation gift for my daughter and her friend. Feels balanced and well made. Just seemed like a nice gift for a girl going off to college. It only has to work once!

I bought pink Defense Pens for all the girl's and women in my family. I bought the black ones for all the boys and men. They will be slipped into their Easter baskets. In today's world, attacks can happen anywhere(e.g., work, shopping, parking lots, etc.) This pen is small enough to keep handy. Plus it is functional, so one is likely to have it nearby. I like the idea that pen can be replaced with Parker refills. I bought several for myself to keep in car, purse and office. Defense in plain sight. I also bought the brush with plastic knife handle. Both of these items can be brought into planes and anywhere guns are prohibited. Several of my friends are now buying them as gifts also. One person works as a home health RN and all her co-workers are now buying them. They don't look threatening. Great quality, useful and invaluable in case of an attack.

I love this pen. It writes great, is very comfortable to use, looks cool, and can be used as a weapon. What more could you want? Easy to get refills with gel ink too. I like it so much I am ordering more in the other colors. The guys won't steal my pink pen either! My favorite pen ever - so far.

This is a wonderful pen. I got my husband one for his birthday and now he reciprocated on mine!! A pen and a weapon in one....now that is a nice present!!

I have one in grey, and got the pink one for my wife. Solid construction, no cap to lose, refills available at any office supply store. You won't regret buying one.

The pen delivered as advertised. It is a little heavier than a regular pen, but I like the way it writes, there is no top to remove and get lost, and it has a comfortable feel when you write with it. It is not only a good writing tool but I feel an excellent defense tool.
