Product Description
This United Cutlery forged ball sword cane offers exquisite details not found in cheap knock offs. The 23" Damascus steel blade was hand forged at temperatures of more than 1,000 degrees to yield a razor-sharp, double-edged blade for maximum cutting. The hardwood hook cane handle offers superior support while an exquisite nylon-and-ray-skin wrapped blade handle allows the blade to be wielded in comfort and style. A hidden blade-release mechanism ensures a speedy deployment of the blade in times it is needed. The entire cane is black for an elegant appearance.

A nice design with an excellent sword, but the designers failed to take into account the height of an average male, as the cane is at least 3 inches too long. In addition, it's quite noisy.
For the most part I am happy with the blade, the handle and case, but the "cane" did not have a rubber tip so it slipped on concrete, and did very little good on gravel surfaces. After I stopped at Walgreens and purchased a package of 4 rubber cane tips it did do well on all surface.
I have owned this sword cane for several months now and it has exceeded all my expectations. It is a functional and comfortable cane, with a black wooden body and beautiful red cord work near the handle. Beneath lurks a lethal, exceedingly sharp, double-edged sword. The bottom end of the cane is covered with a flimsy, plastic tip which is glued on and removable with a little effort. A commercial 7/8ths inch rubber tip, available at most hardware stores, is a perfect replacement. I feel very safe on our evening walks, without appearing to be an armed vigilante. It is a great buy and a beautiful, but lethal, walking aid. I recommend it without reservation.
