  • 6061 Aluminum construction
  • Uses parker style pen refills
  • Flute and groove handle design
  • Twist to open

These high-impact pens are made of precision-machined 6061 aluminum and hard anodized to withstand scratches. The cap-less design allows the pen to always be ready as a kubaton defense tool.

The flutes and grooves on the pen provide a secure grip even under combat situations while the high-pressure clip ensures this pen will remain where you clip it under any circumstances. To write with the pen, just twist the bottom clockwise and the ball point pen emerges.

Affordable tactical pen

I have been Looking for a tactical pen for a while, But I couldn't bring myself to pay 20+ dollars for a pen then on the bogo plus free shipping I figured why not pick this one up. I don't have much experience with tactical pens but compared to my kubatons it stacks up pretty good! I'm definitely glad I picked these up! Thanks budk

Great Last Resort

It's no Anaklusmos, but if a pen is your last line of defense, this thing will get the job done.

Clips came off

I lost mine a few weeks ago. It was clipped to the outside of a shoulder bag. I just viewed the reviews and see that others have had the same problem. I ordered 2 more. I will use Epoxy on the clip as soon as I receive it.

Beware of the clip

Occasionally handing this pen to someone I think might benefit from having one, they always comment ...hey, nice pen! I carried this self-defense weapon for about 4 months with no issues, until the glue holding the clip failed. Luckily I was somehow paying attention to the pen in my pocket, and noticed it fell to the bottom of my pocket. Looking down I saw the clip on the floor, and have since re-glued it. The pen is like a last line of defense, knowing I won't use other deadly force first. However if the clip was lost when the glue failed, this would have been another useless item in my drawer. About the refill: a local print shop charged me $10 for one, it did fit, writes great. I won't go back there, because they gouged me. So find another source. As far as self-defense weapons go, this pen would do pretty well in a pinch. It's sturdy except for the lame glued clip. I suggest re-gluing it before you lose yours too. This pen has no DNA collector and I would assume the cartridge would need to be extended in order to pierce skin. But I'd hate to be struck by this thing, either way. I like the fact that there's no cap to lose, or maneuver to deploy this weapon. The user will simply remove the pen from their pocket, firm up your grip and swing. Practice this move in advance. Good construction, crummy glued clip, tedious cartridge replacement. I'd suggest having it, instead of going without a weapon.

Dual Purpose

A pen that serves two purposes. The 1 star is for the cheap cartridge although I do like the fact the the ink is blue.

Great Pen

A very nice pen that doesn't look like a weapon, but could be very deadly. Someone was saying that there is no information on replacement cartridges, the pen takes a Parker cartridge. It comes with a knock off no name cartridge (hence the lost star) that doesn't write very well, but I just went to Staples and got a gel replacement, writes great! I feel that much safer at work now! (as safe as a pen can make one feel that is) I would buy this again without hesitation.

don't buy

Bought a couple tested them out they were great for impact but any leverage techniques they all broke on the threading where you unscrew it. For self defense do not buy.

replacement cartridge

Over all an excellent pen, however it comes with blue ink. I could not find information for a replacement cartridge of a different color. Information should be made available for different cartridges.
