good quality, good balance to throw , love the sheath and arm straps, good and sharp, thanks BUDK

I have bought around four or five knives. I use them to make the hidden blades from Assassins Creed and it is a perfect fit.

I LOVE BudK!!! I have ordered ALOT of stuff from here since discovering the site. I only had one small problem with my purchase of the arm knives, I was a bit unhappy that the upper elastic strap was way to short! I had to buy material to make my own strap for the upper part of the arm. I was sort of surprised that the strap was so short since I'm female and my arms AREN'T BIG! So I'm sure they're to short for a mans arm! But I would for sure recommend them to friends! Hopefully the company will make the straps longer. Don't worry BUDK, I LOVE your products! I'll continue to be a happy buyer! Karen -

The only beef I have with this knife is how small it is, but that's not their fault, that's mine for not reading the description well enough. Anyway, This knife is pretty awesome, it's compact, the tip is sharp, and it seems like it'd be a good thrower. It's low profile design makes it really easy to conceal.

Awesome knife. I wear two of theses daily. Small and compact, very comfortable and durable. I highly recommend this product.
May 23, 2013

these are fun little knives, emphasis on the word little. I plan on giving these to some of my older nephews. my forearm is too big, but I wont let go of them all. they are very light weight and won't fall out of the holster because they come with a very good metal snap. the edges are sharp enough, but the point is very sharp and dangerous. you can wear these to feel secure, but don't ever take them out because two people will get hurt. the person you stab and you going to jail. here's another tip, if you throw a knife, you no longer have a knife.
Apr 25, 2013

After looking at several l feel that i made the right choice. Nice blade and feel solid in the grip. Don't really care for the snap on the case will have to loosen that up some or just remov it. Overall i'm very pleased i did buy 2.

I like these knives and was happy to learn the elastic straps also fasten with Velcro. Three thumbs up.
Jan 19, 2013

These things are COOL! As soon as I got the knife I could'nt stop thinking about the hiden blade on Assassin's creed! It looks exactly like Haython Kenway's blades! But it doesn't come out like a real hiden blade though. Man is there anything BUDK does not sells!
Jan 08, 2013

These knives are cheep but when the are sharpened, they become super sharp. I use these knives in making the hidden blade from assassins creed, and they work great for it.

great kinfe it works good straped to my arm, to my belt, in my boot, on my leg, and with the leg straps on my ninja suit. the streachy matirial the staps are mad of make it to wear you can ethier wear it onyour arm or leg you cn even slide the straps in and out very easily and put it on your belt.
Apr 10, 2011

It was smaller than I expected and the arm straps were to small. It is a very good thrower and is easily concealable.
Jan 13, 2011

This is a great knife, great sheath as well, there's thick plastic on the inside to prevent it stabbing through the bottom.

it's also a great thrower, sharp at the tip, dull edge but easily can be sharpened, and very sturdy.

I recommend strapping it around your calf as a leg knife, its very comfortable this way, I forget its there, it stays in place very well, but that may be due to my large calfs.

I recommend this knife to anyone. it's well worth the price
Awesome knife. It's decently sharp out of the box, It fits my skinny forearms all the way up to the top of my calves. Well worth $10, I'm planning on getting one of each stinger I am so impressed.

this knife is an amazing knife very sharp point and the sheath is very comfortable and very well hidden under shirt or pant legs
May 15, 2010

bought this knife around 06 or 07. holds a very nice edge and hide very nicely under sleeves or in a boot. only problem i've had is the handle came lose about 2 months ago. very simple fix with some super glue. Editor's Note: Thank you for your comments. We have updated the review to reflect the appropriate spelling.

its a must buy its well concealed dos not fall out to often and is so sharp it cuts a pop can in half like a warm knife threw butter
May 15, 2009

this knife is amazing, the plastic handle works as a shock absorber of sorts, the handle stays in place, and i have found that it makes a fantastic throwing knife
Mar 01, 2009

awww man!!! exactly what i was looking for this blade is perfect! holds a great edge and is very strong steel
Feb 26, 2009

Soooooooooooo sharp-seriously, the picture doesn't do it justice, im actually afraid to run my finger over the blade. I could actually imagine this being used in combat. awesome buy!

I've had one of these for over 10 years and both blade and tip are still sharp as the day I got them. I've polished them up a little over the years but only have done it 3 times and that was due to age and my extensive use of it. This is clearly a stabbing weapon that can double as a throwing knife if need be as it is amazingly balanced, much more then I initially thought as it performs better then many of my throwing knifes. I can easily hit bulls-eyes at 20 yards with it no problem as a somewhat proficient knife thrower myself. Super durable I have used it for general use and have defended myself with it over 10 years and no signs of breaking and damage. Small and easy to conceal. The holder that comes with it can be a bit of a pain in the butt but it isn't to hard to find something that can fit the blade so you don't cut yourself with it while walking around. Cutting wise can be a little dull but no where near as bad as some people say the edge can easily cut flesh clean but this knife wasn't designed to be cutting one it is a stabber or thrower. Still you can sharpen it if you want as you may not be comfortable with the edge but mine came very sharp. I've sharpened it up after a few years and the cutting edge can be quite deadly and scary sharp and holds well. I bought another one recently and I was kinda shocked as it was a lot less sharpened then the 1 I was given as a gift 10 years ago. Not sure if you changed the way you make them but I had to sharpen the second one up a it up a bit so sharpness may vary as my original 10 year old one came super sharp and the second one I gave as a gift to my girlfriend needed a little sharpening before I felt comfortable about her carrying it. My original and current one I give an easy 5. Second one I bought and gave to my girlfriend I give a 4 as I had to sharpen it up for a bit to get it's cutting edge to a point where I was comfortable with her having it for defense. Beyond that everything else on the 2nd and newer one is just like the original.

This is a decent blade. Yes, it needs some touch up to be sharp but when you do get it to that point it's double edge holds up well. It is good as a thrower and the rubber encased handle means that I won't shatter it like I do with some other split handle knives that I try to use as throwers. Personally I find the arm straps do not hold well when I draw the blade, there is a loose fit that makes it difficult. I use this as a boot knife, I strap the shorter strap that came with the knife around my ankle above my boot and wrap the excess laces into the sheath as I tie my boot lace around my ankle and use the longer elastic strap to secure the bottom of the sheath. Now when I disengage the retaining strap and pull the blade the sheath stays in place. I got this as a bogo and for the price I recommend this as a back up knife. Obviously it is small, if you read the measurement provided in the description you will know that. Use it as a concealed last ditch knife and you will not be let down by it. If you buy this thinking that it is the only knife you need then you will be like some of the other comments below and let down. Any good collector should know how to sharpen a knife and after you do as long as you use it as a last ditch, like a neck knife, you will be very pleased for the price. Especially if you get the bogo deal, check for that before you buy.

This is a decent knife. Not as sharp out of the box as expected, but i put a good edge on it. Would like for the sheath straps to be more secure on arm, but overall pretty good
Jun 06, 2013

This is a nice little knife. Wasn't really sharpe but its more of a poker not cutter. The wrist bands only fit my 5 year old and wife, totally unusable for man sized wrist. I would recommend this knife to a friend as long as said friend was a woman.
Mar 30, 2013

It's a very lightweight and balanced blade, and very good for the price. However, for me at least, the straps are too small, and the buckle that holds the blade in is almost impossible to open.
Aug 14, 2012

The knife itself is stainless steel and the handle is some sort of a rubber grip. It's well made except the straps are not that sturdy to strap around your forearm. It is still a descent buy for nine dollars.
Apr 14, 2012

The knife itself is OK it didn't come very sharp but the point is very sharp. The sheath is OK to but the straps were to big for me until I tide a knot in both of them and then they worked well. Also the clip that holds the blade it is hard to un-clip it, and that's the only real problem I have with it.
Feb 18, 2011

Blade was dull, but was easy to sharpen, seems sturdy enough, and is very easy to conceal beneath a long sleeve shirt. Handle was plastic, but still nice.
Jan 14, 2011

This knife is very useful. I was given this (among other knives) as a late Christmas present.

May 07, 2010

This knife is good kinda small but works well for self defense if needed. The blade is sharp as my friend found out he slipped and it cut his knee clean open the doctor told him it was a very clean cut. overall good knife
Apr 04, 2010

good item, the only biff I have with it is that the velcro straps are kinda short and are not secured... as it that there is literally nothing attaching them to the sheath. They simply insert through loops at either end of the sheath. The knife itself is great though
Apr 03, 2010

Love the knive. Great thrower, very sharp. Two downsides: 1. A little small. It's about the same size as most bootknives. 2. The straps are really small and don't stretch well. But I would definetly buy another!
Feb 19, 2010

i love the sheath though i replaced the nife with a throwing nife thats about the same size jus with a longer handle but the nife and sheath are both worth the buy
Feb 09, 2010

The dagger itself is sharp as Hell. I accidentally cut myself about 2 minutes after I opened it. The handle however, is waaaay small and doesn't really fit in my hand. I wish it was about an inch longer. I'm not the biggest guy at 5'9" with moderately sized forearms and the straps don't even fit me without totally cutting off all circulation in my arm.

I replaced the tiny straps with some I had around the house and now it works great. It definitely serves it's purpose.
Dec 09, 2009

This knife is pretty sweet, the only negative for me personally was that the straps were too small to allow me to attach the knife more toward the back of my forarm, but its not really a problem plus the straps could easily be replaced by bigger ones of your own. Awesome buy as usual from TrueSwords.
Jun 22, 2009

It is small, yet large enough to work for self defense. I do not wear it on my wrist but found that it is the perfect size to fit into a front pants pocket. I can pull it out in one easy motion. It would of gotten a five star rating but I had to do some serious sharpening to get the edge just right.
Jun 16, 2009

The blade is smaller than I thought. But it is very sharp at the point, definitely a stabbing knife. The attachments are are both the same size, making very hard to attach it comfortably, I just made my own and it fit like a charm. Certainly worth the money.

its awesome !! as soon as you put it on you just want to pull it out and stab soomething ( i now have a huge whole in my couch) its good metal but the handle is platic ....it doesnt bother me though ^^ sweet deal and knife
Dec 22, 2008

this is a great knife high quality too but all of united knives are sheath fit's a bit snug on the arm so if you have larger arms around you mite wanna get the one with a shoulder holster an the pic. make's knife look bigger then it is so once more ill say it look at the size it tells you it is other wise its great vary happy with this knife.
Nov 03, 2013

Great knife, easily hidden and it has a strong blade, it DOESNT come pre sharpened which is kind of a downside but other than that i totally recommend this knife to all.
Jun 18, 2013

The tip is fairly sharp, though there is no real edge to speak of. The knife is fairly small, as stated in the description. The main issue is that the blade is extremely thin. These do not stand up to much use. If you had to use it for self-defense, you could. Once.
Jun 04, 2013

Jan 30, 2013

Came dull as heck, had to sharpen. The elastic arm straps are too thin and short. Don't get me wrong, my arm is moderately sized. The first one fits perfectly, but a normal human's arm is not straight. I retro-fitted this thing so I can put it on my leg though, and now it works like a charm. Replaced the button that holds the knife in the sheath with velcro for an easy rip/withdraw.

5/5 for the overall product, but forced to give 3/5 for the problems mentioned.
Jul 13, 2010

Jun 24, 2009

Well, it is pretty nice. Blade is sturdy enough. Sheath works alright. But i had to put my own straps on the sheath. otherwise cool.
Aug 17, 2013

While the blade is inexpensive, it is also dull with no edge and is thin, looks like it will break very easily. If you buy this knife, buy a blade sharpener.....
