A good piercing point, slim profile and thicker than expected; this is a decent backup blade. I got these and I'm glad. I wouldn't call it a combat knife, but a covert carry dagger. I've tried every way to use this, and the best way with this sheath is on my forearm, because in this position it won't fall out, and it's quickly deployed. Some suggestions for carrying on the belt in the small of the back? I dunno, I couldn't get it back in the sheath in this position. This isn't going to be a razor knife, but a thrusting dagger made to pierce and bludgeon because the end is tapered also. Grip for this blade is either way, and both will do damage. A great gift, they made a couple guys in the family smile and say thanks.
