Great Knife/Small Price!

This little knife is well built. It is quite solid with a thick blade. I doubt you could get a real fine edge on such a thick blade. But, this knife is better suited for a stabbing defense, rather than trying to slash your way through a mountain of flesh. Every knife fighting expert agrees that stabbing is a lot more effective for killing an enemy than slashing. While it's balanced well for throwing, that should only be used as a recreational sport or as a last ditch attempt to get away. If you throw your knife, even if it sticks (which it probably won't given unknown distances)it won't kill your attacker instantly like in the movies. Knives kill by blood loss and it takes a while to bleed out. In the mean time, he has your knife and you're now unarmed. They show the sheath on a belt, but that's a mistake by someone who doesn't know about this knife. IT accepts a one inch wide strap (belt) and would be better secured upright on a strap of your web gear, instead of sideways behind you. Overall this is a good knife for what it was made for and you can't beat the Bogo two for one, especially if you wait for the 30% off deal. That's better than free shipping.

This is a great knife and a great value being as it's BOGO. Didn't come razor sharp (but hey, that's what sharpeners are for) but does have a pointing tip. It also conceals very well. My only complaint is that the belt loops are kind of small. All in all, very satisfied with this purchase!!!

nice knife, solid feel to it. only drawback is that it will only fit on a small 1 inch dress belt. if you wear a wider belt, it will not fit.

Great Concealed Knife

This knife did need a little sharpening out of the box, but let's face it: if you like knives and are too lazy to sharpen your own knives then you need to go collect tea cozies. The elastic loops on the sheath are very small, but will work with many belts and the knife itself can be concealed pretty well if needed.

Way smaller than expected, but the handle is still big enough to grip easily. The blade itself probably won't do much, but the point at the tip, it didn't take much force to penetrate my bed. Also, it's not a good thing to run with, I was running outside and it fell down and I didn't even notice. When I found it again, the tip was dug into the dirt. Other than that, it is a great dagger.

This is a very nice knife for the money. As others have stated it does not come very sharp and perhaps some paracord around the handle would be a nice to have extra. However these are all DIY fixes if these are important to you, but this should not take away from the knife itself. If you want a small full tang tactical knife take a look at this one.

Knife Knowledge

For those of you who expect EVERY knife to have a cutting edge, don't buy this, in fact don't buy knives. That said, as an avid knife collector I have to say that this is a very impressive piece. The design is flawless for penetrating power, right down to the dorsal bevels on the back of the blade. I have put this knife through ply-wood, a car door, and a 3/16" Kevlar plate; all by hand. It is balanced well enough to throw, and has just enough weight that if it doesn't stick it will crack a bone, (I've hit the handle against, and broken, concrete.) Taking all factors into account, this has got to be one of the most functional, brutal, stabbing knives I've ever had.

Serves one purpose: A quick reaction, last resort, self defense tool. I would've liked to think the blade on it would be useful in an emergency setting... However, this thing is all pointy and the blade will need to be sharpened on your own. So, if you're looking for a self defense tool - this little guy can help your mind stay at ease while walking in the shadows at night... Might save your wallet or even your life one night.

I'm also really glad to know that TS addressed the belt size concern. This guy fits 1 3/8 inch belts at the max. All my 1.5 inchers wouldn't do. Had to order a 1.25 inch belt so that the sheath would fit in it's concealed state. I talked to an excellent TS customer service representative and they updated the listing to state the belt size max. Thanks TS!

Decent blade

The simple blade and sheath is easy to work with but I would suggest you wrap the handle with paracord. If you don't your hand may slip onto the blade while stabbing. It it a decent throwing knife. I reccomend this knife.

Undercover Stainless Tanto

Overall very nice knife. Thick stainless, sturdy, well balanced as a thrower. Only concern is that it comes to a sharp point, while great for stabbing, it tends to flatten the tip if you miss your target while throwing.

I like this one

This is just an awesome knife for the price!! It's perfectly balanced. Though I haven't Thrown it yet, I'd wager it'll throw well. As with all economy knives, it's needs some sharpening, but that's just fine with me. :-) I really like the feel of this one.

I like this quite a bit. The straps on the sheath are a bit small for larger belts, but it fits hanging down instead of the concealed way. The end is very sharp, but the rest isn't. My sheath broke after having this for a few months, and it's just because it got snagged on something. It's not a great everyday knife, but good for feeling safe.

Still Awesome

This was originally posted as an 8" stealth bodyguard throwing knife and has been slightly modified to a tanto 7 1/4". I purchased a few of the original knives 4 years ago and to this day I have no complaints. They are perfectly balanced and considering it is a smaller knife, it has a nice weight to it. These can be thrown with spin or no spin, as a spike, or just as a simple impalement tool. These newer ones do have a sharper edge to them so that comes as a bonus. Pick one up, you won't regret it.

Still Awesome

Great knife!

I find I need to hone the edge on most of the inexpensive knives I buy, including these, but it's a small matter. The sheaths in general could use some improvements (the one that came with their latest Kerambit was a bit bulky and not very user-friendly), but other than that, the blades haven't disappointed me, yet. Slim, yet sturdy, easy to sharpen with numerous lanyard and carry options the Undercover is a great piece of steel for the price. . .

Great knife!

Concealed knife

Well, i was impressed with the knife inself, as it had a very sharp point, and a chiseled edge. It was clear that the knife was meant for stabbing, excluding the fact that it is a tanto. The knife was smaller than I thought, so instead of holding it normally, I held it sidways in my hand, with my thumb on the side and the blade facing inwards. The sheath is why there is only 4 stars. The belt loops on the back are limited to certain belt sizes, mine barely fit at 1 3/16" wide, and I thought the straps, which are elastic, would break because of the poor stitching. Not only that, but it stuck out like a missing limb! Not concealed at all, when positioned to be at the small of my back. I will keep it though, in the hopes that it can be taped or strapped to a leg because of it being so slim.

undercover knife

This is a very good knife for concealment. I bought two and gorilla glued the two sheaths together and wear them on my belt. The blade is VERY DULL!!! Don't expect it to cut anything out of the box. Personally I bought these for throwing and nothing more. And they are PERFECT for this purpose. I recommend them for throwing, not cutting.

not sharp and is small

This knife does not come very sharp and it is smaller than it seems. I like the sheath and tip of the blade and the hardness, but it is not the best knife in the world. The edges are very dull, they felt rounded when I touched them. Worth the money, though.
