This antique WWI Issue Kukri is a later and slightly smaller version of the traditional kukris and became the weapon of choice for hand-to-hand combat. As firearms improved, the kukri was actually used more, not just as a weapon, but as a very important tool. The handmade kukri’s steel blade was smelted, forged, shaped and hammered, in Nepal, by individual Kamis. It has a wooden handle and comes in a genuine leather sheath.
