I just received my second one of these and am totally satisfied. They each came carefully wrapped and had full hardware to assemble them. As others have noted, there are no instructions included, but a quick glance at the picture clearly shows where the four pieces go. The eight black screws are used to attach the support piece to the sides and then that completed piece to the base. The holes are counter-sunk for a flush finish.
The picture shows red felt, but each of mine came with black felt. No big deal for me. ;-)
It makes a great display and keeps my swords happy.
As above mentioned there are no instructions but honestly its not rocket science.
Caution: do not overtighten the screws or may strip holes and then you will need to use a larger screw. Might want to use some wood glue to keep it all together nice and tight but probably not necessary.
Otherwise its a nice looking display stand for my Musashi set : Katana + Wakizashi +Tanto. I can post a pic if anyone interested.
It's a beautiful piece, but the corners were damaged, and there were no instructions or screws to assemble. What started as a thoughtful gift, became a scavenger hunt for the right size screws.
I received my sword display today. No instructions or even a simple diagram to show how to put it together quickly. I am capable of putting anything together but I like to have instructions to know if I am putting it together in a correct manner. I am looking at the picture right now and I will attempt to put it together if does not look right or falls off my wall, back to BUDK it goes.
Item arrived with scratches, package deteriorated and no instructions to ensamble
