    Hand forged of genuine high-carbon Damascus steel, this Ten Ryu katana offers a massive 26.5" copper-tone blade with a heavy blood groove and hand-sharpened edge that will slice with ninja precision. Stylish embellishments such as the cast zinc alloy tsuba, brass accents, genuine ray skin handle and regal cord wrappings add tons of authenticity to this dramatic, fully functional collectible sword. The black lacquered scabbard is hand painted with coordinating cord accents.

    About Ten Ryu Swords:

    For more than 2600 years, the "City of Treasure Sword", Longquan, is known for making the best swords in the world. Located within the border of South Zhejiang, and under the Fengyang Mountain, Longquan is rich in resources which are ideal for crafting swords.

    During the period of Warring States (770-476 B.C.), a famous sword maker named Ou Yezi created the most renowned sword in Longquan. Since then, the secret arts of crafting swords have been passed down from generation to generation.

    Ten Ryu swords are hand forged by master craftsmen with years of experience from Longquan. These master sword smiths combine modern knowledge with traditional secrets to produce superior quality swords known for their durability, sharpness, and exquisite craftsmanship.

    Just got it in the mail a couple of hours ago and from a first impression, before I take it through a few trials, The handle with the cord wrapping feels more comparable in the in the hands and compared to some of my low-end katana and I the katana doesn't rattle in the saya like some of my other blades.
