"This is a cool sword and seems heavy duty. It is physically very heavy, honestly too heavy to ever be used as a weapon. It would really benefit from a sheath too, because it comes oiled and you can't set it down anywhere without getting oil on things. That said, it's cool and fun."

"Pros: This sword is excellent for the price, and even with the cons I'll describe later, I'm very satisfied with what I got. The sword is solid, hefty and quite sharp, so calling it "battle-ready" is definitely accurate. It also arrived in great condition and much quicker than I expected. Cons: This isn't really a critique of the maker, since they were accurately recreating the swords in 300, but of the design itself. The sword is heavier than I expected, and the weight isn't evenly distributed, being front-heavy (honestly feels more like an axe than a sword at times). This can make wielding it a tad cumbersome, and while I'd feel comfortable using it as a chopping instrument, it wouldn't be my first choice in a proper fight. Also, as others have said, there's no sheath included."

"Great weapon for display, homeless protection, and quality made. Need a sheathe or scabbard. Fits like a two-handed short sword on my hands. Put cardboard on the neck to give it a Conan look and feel. Totally legal unless use it the wrong way. I have a hunting slingshot basic style, it uses 24-36 inch arrows, and that can be illegal to some extent. Everything's a felony these days. Like the design and feel. Are you sure this is the right measurements??? The movie showed a tab bit smaller. Carbon steel is tough and heavy, but the quality I can imagine if I had this in past era. THANKS."
