Exceptional quality for the price
"I make swords as a blacksmith, but getting the proportions right on eastern swords is difficult. I have always wanted to have/make a Katana, so to save myself the effort of trying to make one that was properly weighted, with a real hamon, and with nice detailed fittings, I decided to buy one. I did not want a cheap, poorly made one, as I still wanted something of quality. A friend of mine recommended Musashi swords to me, as he had one I had always liked. I decided to get the bamboo one due to the hamon and the fuller down the length of the blade. I am very critical when it comes to swords, ones that I make and ones others make, so I was genuinely surprised by the quality of the piece. I would 100% recomend this sword to anyone that is looking for a good looking Katana for a reasonable price. The only negative commentary I have is that the ito wrap is a bit fuzzy, and that the tsuba is powder coated. I knew both of these would be present when I purchased the sword."
