"Windlass has truly lived up to it's reputation with this Black War Sword. This is a hand and a half sword that can switch seamlessly between single and double grips. The balance is just about perfect, and the blade comes very sharp. The blued part of the sword has a mirror shine (after you wipe the oil off), and the pommel and hilt are both fairly high quality. Finally, the sheath has a nice, snug fit; and doesn't come off unless you draw the sword yourself. For a sword under $300, you can't go any better than the Black War Sword!"
