WOW! And I mean WOW!

Scratch and Dent is just that - items that have some issues but are fully functional. I ordered two of these and received 8 items within 8 days. With several bowies the issue was not with the knife but with the sheath. The leather got wet and disintegrated around the snaps and rivets. Tossed the sheaths, but the knives themselves and the blades were exceptional and with some scrap leather I am now making custom sheaths. Only one knife of the 8 received had some rust on the pommel. A little WD-40 and scrubbing removed the rust but left some etching on the pommel which just adds character in my mind (blade was pristine condition). The machetes were basic and only seemed to have packaging issues. 3 machetes and 5 bowie knives that sell for over $200. One was a Damascus steel knife with a ruined sheath. (Knife was perfect!!) Even with the bad sheaths and one knife with minimal rusted pommel this deal easily surpasses the $40 I paid. Way to go BudK. I love shopping here!

Excellent deal

The first knife I got was an armor of God Bowie. It had a bent tip I easily fixed and someone's name engraved on it, still working on that. The second was a 2 piece timber rattler set with a big bowie and small knife. Full tang with bone handles. Nice leather sheath that holds them both, could not find any problems. The third was another 2 piece timber rattler. Full tang with real wood handle. The only issue was the smaller knife was missing. The fourth and best was a Damascus Bowie with a stag handle and brass guard. Beautiful knife. It had a small section with pitting. May be unnoticed if it wasn't for the time I spent staring at the Damascus design. Looked up the knives and got well over what I paid. I will definitely be doing this deal again.

very good deal

i have ordered this twice now and im very happy with what i have recieved got mostly timber rattler bowie knives with no problems other than engravings or scratches didnt get any machetes so that was sad but o well out of both my favorites were the western outlaw one and the sinful spiked bowie very very nice knives well worth full price. i would say if ur looking for some good knives and willing to take a chance this is well worth it.

Good deal

3/4 blades i received were really nice. The timber rattler had a ding in the tip of the blade that i fixed in about 5 minutes other than that any defects on the knives were cosmetic.

I have done several of the mystery deals with mixed results, but was really pleased with this one. Being a fixer upper type of guy and amateur knife maker I figured that anything I got I could redo but only one really needed any significant work. It was a large kissing crane bowie that had some spots of discoloration/rust/ some sort of something in a few quarter size spots but still something I was pleased with to work on. Next was a 2015 Christmas bowie with nothing wrong with it. Another was a big Bowie with a slightly loose handle, easy fix. And lastly a cool set of Striking Cobra machetes that I have actually thought about ordering, nothing that I could find wrong with them, except the box was a little mangled, but you don't cut and chop with a box. So please don't anyone order any more of these so I can buy them all up!!!

So I just got these today and I am not disappointed at all. Shipping was a bit of a problem I ordered them on the 1st and they didn't ship out till the 9th and got here today. The first was a U.S.M.C. combat fighting knife not much to say except it's a nice little knife in perfect condition. The next was a kissing crane 170th anniversary knife that's not even available anymore it's a nice knife but you can tell it was obviously used the hand guard was loose and the blade had a few marks on it nothing major I think the worst part about this knife is it didn't come with a sheath which is a huge safety risk for me since I have two very young kids it came in bubble wrap like who does that but other wise it would be a nice solid knife. Third was mithrokil short sword can't say I would have picked this one cause it's not really my style but it's still a really bad ass sword to have. And last but certainly not least my favorite out of the bunch the Gil hibben survivor Bowie and let me tell you this thing is bad ass nice and solid and it's perfect except for a bent tip which I don't know how the hell that happened cause this thing is extra sturdy. Great price for the quality of stuff you get can't beat it I definitely recommend this

Keep it a secret!

Have to admit,I was unsure as to order this mystery bag, sold "as is no returns",but I needed something to up my order to get 30% off. WOW! was i surprised when the order arrived! I won't tell you exactly what i got because you may not get the same stuff, but i will say i got 2 Gill Hibben signature series bowies with NO blemishes whatsoever,a killer United CutleryM-48 special-ops tanto, and finally a massive bone handled Kissing Crane 170th anniversary stainless bowie made in Germany!!!. I added up the current catalog price ,and for the 4 knives i received the value was OVER $200.00 BUCKS!!!!!. Now i know why they don't offer this deal in the catalog! Best kept secret!!!

So, update.

Ordered 3 more sets. Even better than my first. Just to give an example I'll name a few of the most worthy that I received. I got two Gil Hibben Knives retail worth over over 150 each, a beautiful timber wolf bowie with a carbon fiber style blade. Retails for about 80, and my personal favorite a very nice Damascus steel Bowie with a deer bone handle. Easily worth the price and I highly recommend it. I can't wait until true swords adds the sword version of this sale so I can try my luck at that as well.

Not Bad at all

So to start off I need to point out how great the price tag is for the amount of stuff you receive. For 20$ I got a machete, 2 bowie knives, and a decorative wolf knife (the hilt was damaged but the pieces were in the box so it was an easy fix. One of the bowie knives I received was a beautiful full tang tumbler rattler bowie with a 7.5 inch partner knife and a real leather sheath. This knife alone was worth well over the 20$ price tag, and the other additions just feel like nice little bonuses. Everything was also in almost new condition so don't let the "scratch and dent" name scare you off, this is quality merchandise and I'll be buying 2 more to test my luck.
