Bad ass...

"This beauty goes well with my Civil War wall... plus is very well balanced and strikes well! You will need to sharpen a bit or maybe it just wasn't sharp enough to my liking perhaps? But definitely a solid nice buy and the engraving was a sick touch!"

Re-review after some time of ownership

"I'm back to give a rave review. Of course, the sword is an inexpensive beater, but still today it is my go to for entertainment backyard cutting. I have a variety of much higher quality, higher priced swords, but a very expensive sword will bend when you hit something really hard at a bad angle, and a very expensive sword needs resharpening after a while. This sword gives me the incredible opportunity of heavy abuse, and continued use, without all of the worry about the expense. Most importantly, no matter what material I want to cut, if a sword will cut it, this sword will cut it. (not all swords can say that, especially not below 250$ shipped). If I want a cutting session that will work for sure, but I want to be careless and rough, I can take this sword out, have all the fun I want, it won't degrade the condition, it won't break, and critically, it won't fail to cut where swords that cost for appearance will. ( I mean swords marketed as real weapons and costing 3-4 times this ones price will fail cuts and this one will not). Overall, and after plenty of time with it, this sword is a clear go-to."

damn. this was like my best sword experience

"Backstory for context: I am using it for backyard bottle-chopping. But for that,, I don't know if you can get a better one handed sword. It is superbly sharp. It is light enough to use comfortably, and despite the price it is durable enough that it's durability will never be a concern for the life of such a hobby. Actually, I am certain this tool, if cared for, could be passed down. At the price, you can have a saber you don't mind abusing, that is as sharp as any bottle could ever require, and you will set to the task of leaving bottle after bottle cut but still standing. No, I can't say about it's use in a fencing situation, and I probably think it's thin for wood cutting, but for appropriate sword use, that would be recommended for any sword, it will be a top performer. Uh,, it would cut you right in half if used be a skilled swordsman."

Great sword

"I just got this today, and it looks and feels great, I had to sharpen it a lot better, but was able to get, I do not like the way the sheath is setup but I will have to figure out where to get a better one, or make one myself. Other then that, It is a great sword, I would be able to use it when the lefties, try to attack."
