Good for yard work

"Not its intended use I’m sure, but I went out of the country for a few weeks and when I got home there was a notice from the city about my weeds. They were like 5ft tall. The little week eater I had wouldn’t cut it and I wasn’t about to pay a 1K fine. Took me 3 days and a a lot of blood, sweat and determination. But it cut every weed like it was nothing. Didn’t dent or nick the blade at all. I was just recently using it to clear brush and I hit a pipe. Still very effective but I will be getting a new one. I love this thing."

Quite impressed!

"Balance is perfect at the top of the handle. Edge is sharpish. No back edge but thank Dog that i have a belt grinder and edged up the 'hook' in no tine. Used it to whack and chop and trim an unruly yard. Inch and a half branches were no impediment. One whack. Vines and slender branches, whether on the ground or overhead, were no sweat for the hook. I would suggest that factory sharpening the 'back' gives it 100% greater usage, ability! Good weight, two hands gives it lightening speed and cutting ability, and it is very easy on the joints and muscles. I'm... 69yrs. One helluva weapon, obviously IF the back is sharpened!. If not, we are riding a crippled horse... Good sheath, also. even protects with the back sharpened. After swing it around in the yard, the edges remained sharp, no rolling or chipping. Blade still straight. and for $60.ish, I am a happy customer. Namaste'"

"I have mine for about a year. It is very sharp out of the box as I learned the hard way. It is an interesting weapon / tool. The scabbard is functional for the unique design. The handle is very good. The drawback is that the blade is very thin and mine was noticeably off center. This is more a hedge cutter then a weapon."
