Gil Hibben’s Custom Hook Sword Cane is a masterwork of design, seamlessly blending form, function, and hidden power. The sleek black shaft is crafted from solid wood with mirror-finished stainless steel accents, giving it a sophisticated, high-end appearance. Concealed within is a 14 3/4” tanto blade made of 7Cr17 stainless steel—mirror-polished and precision-forged for a clean, controlled draw. The unique stainless steel hook handle isn’t just visually striking—it’s contoured for a natural, comfortable grip that enhances both support and style. A built-in release mechanism allows the blade to deploy and lock smoothly, making this cane both a practical accessory and a showstopping collectible. Elegance meets edge in this signature Hibben creation.

Good

"I use it as my every day came it’s well made in good looking it’s not entirely straight, but it doesn’t affect it being functional"

Beautifully made but. . .

"Everything about this cane is great! The only thing not to my standards was the blade was not as sharp as shown in the advert."

Crow (4/5)

Amazing Cane!!!

"This cane was above and beyond what we expected!! It is BEAUTIFUL, solid and well made! It had 7 grown men in awe when my Father in Law opened up his gift! Thank you so much!! We will be back to purchase more of your work!"

Paula S. (5/5)

Awesome

"I love it!"

Robert L. (5/5)

Very Satisfied

"Very happy w/this cane. Would definitely recommend. Very nice looking cane!! I'm 6'3"' 205lb. The cane fits and easily supports my weight. Has weight to the solid steel handle. One hit with it would break someone's shin. The sword is to spear not to sword fight with. The blade is not razor sharp However, It is sharp enough to go thru a human, dog, coyote etc. Sword does not rattle in case. Well made. Other reviews may have had problems but I got an elegant looking defense cane. Well worth the $$$$$. Other sites charging $145 plus shipping for same cane."

Another Gil Hibden Quality Knife

"I have purchased sword canes in the past but his one is much better quality. My only complaint would be that the sword could have been sharper."

Warren S. (4/5)

junk

"Blade came loose shaft was cracked. Retainer on handle was missing. this is more Chinese junk."

Charles H. (2/5)

Not as described

"The cane itself is pleasing to the eyes, however the handle is very heavy and is loose. The blade is shorter than expected and is nowhere close to razor sharp. As far as a self defense weapon, would be closer described as a conversation piece."

Steve Y. (2/5)

beautiful short sticker

"The cane is appealing to the eye, the balance feels odd due to the heavy head and length of grip vs. the short blade. It is very well crafted and the wire grip is a very nice feature. I am only giving this cane an average rating due to the advertising photo leads you to think the blade is longer than it is. I thought well after looking at the photo maybe the overall legth is 20" or more and only 14" is sharp. This was a wrong assumption. The steel is 14" and the "sharpened" portion is around 9"."
