Impressive sword
"A very nice sword but not , probably, historically accurate. There may be a-bit too much embellishment and decoration for an everyday combat weapon but then it may not have been intended as that, it may well have been a depiction of a ceremonial royal sword. Regardless, it make for an impressive display. It's a good thing that there isn't an "edge" on the blade as you would be likely to remove a toe or two if you dropped it. The etchings on the blade are crisp and very well done. This has been referred to as a "two handed" sword and indeed it is. Errol Flynn wouldn't be seen dueling one handed with this baby. This is a very nice sword and a nice touch to have around if you have any Scottish heritage. All in all, a very good value."
