"I had been watching this sword and knife combo for a while and then it went on sale so couldn't resist. I really like the combination of medieval blade design with a current day practical handle material. Both feel great in the hand and the sword is nicely balanced. It doesn't feel as heavy as it is (3 lbs 13.7 oz) when using one handed and feels even better with both hands. The knife feels practically weightless in hand as the POB is at the handle itself. Very happy with the quality of all of the Honshu swords I have purchased and really appreciate that they engrave the metal type in the blade itself, i. e. , 1060 High Carbon. Makes it easier as don't have to look it up each time someone asks what type of metal it's made from."
