"I am ordering my second Sub Hilt Tanto for a Tenet living in my Duplex. She is 5' 2" and over 70 years old. She expressed fears of her safety. A Gun of any caliber was out. I suggested a sword. She laughed but said go on. I let her test the swords in my collection. She liked the Black Ronin. I then gave her the Tanto. She was smiling while handling the blade. It had the best grip for her hands with arthritis; she maintained control of the blade. The weight is balanced such that she was making good intuitive moves and motions with it. The chances anything will ever happen is highly unlikely; but, just in case.... I gave her mine which just came a couple days ago. I was glad to allay her fears with a bit of personal confidence with something that makes her feels safer without the worry of mishaps can can occur with a gun for safety. She keeps her Kitchen knives very sharp and loved the sharpness of the Honshu. Some U tube videos for her to watch and we begin to practice with wood sword this weekend. The Honshu Sub Hilt Tanto is a beautiful made blade. That even a Senior can appreciate, and enjoy the peace of mind it can bring. I now like it more."
