"I eagerly awaited this blade and for the most part I am not disappointed. The sheath is minimal but functional, and made of a stiff leather, my only complaint would be the same for all sheaths. it's made for right handed people and I am left handed. Wish I knew a fix for this. The blade is solid, the handle grip is nice but I feel the added grip on the top front of the handle is a bit rough on bare hands. It's a properly heavy sword, and I need to get some watermelons to test it on. I've already scratched some of the paint slicing cans in my backyard."

"This thing is far from a wall hanger. Very well made, sturdy with absolutely no rattle. Nice, thick blade built to be functional but nice enough for display. The sheath is also good quality, which was a bit of a pleasant surprise. It just needs a bit of breaking in."
