"Don't get me wrong - of the three Kissing Crane knives I've purchased, this is the best one, but it's still a Chinese made pocketknife. It's perfectly functional for skinning an apple or cutting thin rope, but the blade doesn't even lock. It's a good knife for kicking around, and if you lose it, you only be out $8, but I'm not sure what kind of guy would be "proud" to own, or collect, a relatively cheap Chinese folding pocketknife. That said, it's a perfectly functional pocketknife - you get what you paid for and that's OK too."
