"I read some other reviews about the cane and one or more comments stated the handle comes off. Sure enough, it was not on tight and pops right off. You would think that it screws on (when you see it, you'll know why), but it doesn't. I didn't feel like returning it, so I took some plumbers tape and wrapped it around the screw part and then wedged it into the handle. Seems to be ok for now. Also, one of the reviews talked about a nice wooden cane, but this is clearly plastic. Other than that, the sword is awesome, and the handle and grip is beautiful."

First cane, but I really, really like it
"I just had my knee replaced, so this is my first cane, and I couldn't be more pleased. The fit and finish are fantastic, and It takes my weight with no issues, unlike other canes that are really just for show. The handle is heavy, which makes the center of gravity high, making walking with it much easier than I would have expected for a cane this solid. You have to really want to pull the blade out, so there have been no accidental unsheathings or anything - my wife still doesn't know there's a blade in my cane. The only thing I would have liked is for the shaft to have been a bit thinner, but considering that it's concealing a blade, I really can't complain too much."
