Gorgeous! I got this for our son for Christmas. Everyone marveled over them and the quality of them. It is very heavy and you must make sure to anchor the plaque well. The blade is dull, not sharp on either side. It came within a few days, very quickly. I have bought other knives and will by more here.
unboxed the sward and found the handle decorations fell off during shipping...small repair. Item can only be used for decoration but it does look fantastic on my office wall.
It came a LOT faster than I expected it to! When I unboxed it, everything was packaged nicely. The blade is sturdy, though not sharp in the slightest, and the handle is very nicely done! All around awesome purchase!
super awesome just can't say enough about this. excellent
I now have the Golden Crusader sword, the Robin Hood sword, the Knight's Templar sword, and the King Arthur sword. The Knight Templar sword is OK, and compliments the other crusader swords that I have. It is a nice show piece, with nice detailing through out. I personally like the King Arthur sword the best, with the decorated sheath that came with it. Now I wait to see what new swords BudK will come up with to add to my growing collection. You can't go wrong with any of these swords in the crusader (middle ages) series. THANKS again BudK or making my day!
This is an amazing sword! The detail of this sword is incredible from the handle to the tip of the blade. The inscription is perfectly detailed. This is an impressive display piece that will be a eye catcher to anyone who sees it. A true knight's sword!
Looks better in person then online. Pleasantly surprised. Good quality, only complaint is the wall plaque has 2 cheap metal pins coming out to hold the sword. But overall a great buy.
This sword really is buetiful with all the ingravings and decor it will make a GREAT costum piece and look even better on my wall
this sword is the pinnacle of my massive collection I'd recommend it to anyone having doubts. it's positively a must have!!!!!!!!!
The ink on the sword was worn, and I had to fix one of the pieces on the hilt. But over all it looks great.
I love the look & design. Its a beautiful sword & a great show piece on my wall. Goes well with my other weapons & armor. A proud addition to my collection & display. Would recommend it to any sword & armor buff. It draws a lot of attention & adds an air or fortitude to my other swords, war hammer & battle axes. would not be happy without it now that I have it & seen how it sets off my collection.
This sword has got to be one of the best in my collection, but it is historically inaccurate. It definitly has Templar imagery, but the style is that of the Teutonic Knights. The tip had been slightly flattened, as if it had been dropped on the point, but that was an easy problem to fix. I highly recommend this sword.
Love this sword, cant believe they are closing it out. The detail and color on this sword is great, the picture here does not do it justice. As far as the weight..... are you kidding me? I think the weight is very minimal for a sword of this size, I can only imagine that back in the day this sword would have weighed at least twice as much given that they didn't have the alloys and variations of steel as we today.
This is a wall hanger and not sharp. Should not be used to chop! Looks great on the wall
Love the detail on the sword. Very nice looking long sword .I bought the knights eager too.getting the shield next ..
I was surprised at the accuracy of the sword. Also didn't expect it to be a real sword. It's heavy of course, because it's the two handed type. Hangs beautifully on my living room wall.
Its a amazing looking sword. Great to just hang on the wall, the detailing on the handle and stuff is really nice, cant really see that in the picture. only complaint is the the circular templar cross at the end of the handle came loose and can unscrew it. fixed that with a little super glue though.
This definitely a good sword! It has good weight and you can get a feel on how beefy the guys who carried it around were. The handle has a good feel in your hands. I would say that if you complain about the weight you have no business having a sword in the first place. It is not sharp but that isn't a problem seeing as it doesn't say it is and it's safer. The plaque needs shorter screws but otherwise is good. Great deal! I would give it a 4.5 if I could.
The sword looks real nice. Beautiful crisp details. My biggest complaint is the weight. This thing is heavy. Its definitely just to hang on a wall. I couldn't carry this for costuming. Now the base on other hand really was the issue. All the holes for the pegs and hanging were covered. Maybe that's normal but I was confused. After I got over that the screws to attach the pegs didn't go in all the way to tighten them enough. Also one of the screws philips slot were filled in so you couldn't even screw it in. Luckily I had screws that fit. Looking at it on my wall it is really nice. I'm just glad I got it on sale. Id recommend this sword to anyone who just wants to hang it and not carry it around at all.
