The Legends In Steel Combat Rapier brings the elegance of European swordplay into a finely crafted reproduction made for display and reenactment. Its 36" high carbon steel blade is hand-forged, oil-tempered, and polished to a mirror sheen, reflecting the refined skill of traditional swordsmiths. The steel basket hilt guard not only enhances authenticity but also offers functional hand protection during stage combat or ceremonial use. The aluminum grip is tightly wrapped in stainless steel wire, creating a textured surface for a secure hold. A chrome-plated sphere pommel helps balance the long blade while adding a period-correct finish. At 45 1/2” overall, the sword includes a durable metal scabbard wrapped in black faux leather, offering a sleek and protective storage solution for collectors and performers alike.

Solid rapier

"The overall construction of the rapier is solid. Everything is secure and nothing is going to break off from excessive use(granted you don’t abuse it by using it in ways that it isn’t supposed to be used.) It has all the right dimensions for a functional sword rather than a wall hanger. If one wanted to, one could easily sharpen the edge for proper use(I should note that the manufacturer has not said anything about doing this.) The only problem I have is that it takes a bit of effort to draw the rapier from its scabbard. But as I have continued to draw the rapier and put it back, it has become easier to do so. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase."
