Very surprised and happy. Decided to purchase my first sword and this one seemed to be one I could have fun with but not break the bank. My sword arrived sooner than expected so I like that. My sword has no rattling as of yet (I've not struck anything with it yet) the cross guard is firmly in place as well as the pomel. The blade is indeed not sharpened and that's fine with me. The grip seems fine to me. The blade and cross guard have some slight blemishes but nothing a dremel and some polishing can't handle. It's not a Albion but it's not really a flea market sword neither. For $72 shipped you can't beat it.

Excellent deal, needs some work.

All in all, for the price, it is good. However, you would need to put in some work. The sword isn't sharp(Legally not allowed to ship sharp swords), the guard was not smoothed out(had some sharp edges), and my tip was damaged during shipping. With that being said, it is still a great value, other sites would sell you a full tang, battle ready sword for roughly $200 starting.

Amazing for the price.

It is not sharp at all, a butter knife is sharper. That being said. If you dont mind sharpening it your self it is a amazing sword. I would say it is the same quality as deepeeka but much cheaper. Well worth the money.

Totally worth it!

Although there is literally no edge on it when it comes out of the box, it is an amazing sword. I sharpened it up and it holds it's edge well. It has some cosmetic imperfections, but that gives it character. Keep a rag with you when you open it. it comes covered in oil. Would totally recommend other than that.

A good purchase

As an expert blacksmith myself, I can see this blade has been hand-forged and well-built. I've been a blacksmith for three years now, and I've seen a lot of different quality swords, and this one is about medium class. If you know how, you can engrave it and design the hilt, pommel, or blade yourself. It didn't come sharpened, but by law, they can't. And I can confirm it's high carbon steel and it's perfectly tempered. You can bend the blade and have it return back to normal. You can take it up against rope, wood, whatever, and the edge will remain true. If you're looking for a sword to roleplay with, or carry, or whatever, this is your blade. You can buy a $100 sword, but it'd be the same as this one. So trust me, if you want a good sword on a budget, this is your final search.

Not a bad looking sword. Actually it's kinda old looking which is good. It's not sharp like they claimed. Well oiled so have a rag handy when You unwrap it.I used some orange cleaner on the handle . All &all it's worth the money

Very good sword. Impressed, but no scabbard. But of a problem for me, so I made one from leather. As others have commented, not sharpened at all. About ten minutes at the bench grinder fixed that though. Now, it's sharp enough to cut decent sized bottles. Not really a huge fan of European blades (I do kenjutsu, not HEMA, so I know much more the katana or other Japanese blades) but a good buy for someone who enjoys this style of sword, but can't afford to spend a lot on a high end Albion or Arms and Armor reproduction.

I fine blade for the knight on a budget.

Ordered it during one of the site's free shipping sales and was delighted to receive the sword just a few days later. Wasn't damaged and looks great. Edge is not sharpened, but I imagine with the proper know-how one could sharpen it. Also, mine came with a comfortable leather-like grip. something I hoped for given the pictures but wasn't sure the sword had. All and all, I give it four and half stars (because it wasn't quite sharpened as advertised) But I'll just round up to five, because I really do love it.

Beautifully blunt

A friend and I both ordered one of these swords. It took slightly longer than usual to ship and when they came in they were bent, but only slightly. They are gorgeous but the tip of the blade is the only part that's sharp at all. Not that big of a deal given the price!
