Excellent deal, needs some work.

"All in all, for the price, it is good. However, you would need to put in some work. The sword isn't sharp(Legally not allowed to ship sharp swords), the guard was not smoothed out(had some sharp edges), and my tip was damaged during shipping. With that being said, it is still a great value, other sites would sell you a full tang, battle ready sword for roughly $200 starting."

Very good sword. Impressed, but

"Very good sword. Impressed, but no scabbard. But of a problem for me, so I made one from leather. As others have commented, not sharpened at all. About ten minutes at the bench grinder fixed that though. Now, it's sharp enough to cut decent sized bottles. Not really a huge fan of European blades (I do kenjutsu, not HEMA, so I know much more the katana or other Japanese blades) but a good buy for someone who enjoys this style of sword, but can't afford to spend a lot on a high end Albion or Arms and Armor reproduction."

I fine blade for the knight on a budget.

"Ordered it during one of the site's free shipping sales and was delighted to receive the sword just a few days later. Wasn't damaged and looks great. Edge is not sharpened, but I imagine with the proper know-how one could sharpen it. Also, mine came with a comfortable leather-like grip. something I hoped for given the pictures but wasn't sure the sword had. All and all, I give it four and half stars (because it wasn't quite sharpened as advertised) But I'll just round up to five, because I really do love it."

Great sword

"It's a great solid sword it's perfect other than mine came with two places on the blade that look like someone smacked them with a hammer and now the cutting edge is dented"
