Well made piece but…

"The blade is very well made and the details on the blade and hand are beautiful. However for $600 I was disappointed with the amount of tarnish already on the handle and hilt when it arrived. The plastic left streak marks all over, even polishing it for an hour I couldn’t get them all out. There’s a small deep scratch on the hilt too, while it’s hardly noticeable I think for $600 it should be free of any of those especially since that will never buff out. It’s understandable for a blade that would see use but not for a collectible that never gets touched. I’ll continue to try and buff out the tarnish marks and hopefully make it look cleaner. I really wish I could give it 5 stars but I just can’t."

A Beautiful Sword, But. .

"I've waited a few months to leave this review to try and work out some visual discrepancies. I am giving this item a 3 star review due to 2 major reasons. When I unboxed this sword, and removed the saran wrap, the guard and pommel appeared to have absorbed whatever oil it was wrapped in causing the material to be very cloudy and visually unappealing. I do have photos, but there is not an option to upload for you to see. The customer service team did supply me with a metal glo polishing paste, however, the solution was not successful. As I spent many hours scrubbing with cloth, paste, and oil, another issue became apparent. The entire pommel and handle became lose and now wiggles in hand. For the price of this museum collection sword, I am a bit disappointed. For what its worth, it is a pretty sword and visually very appealing from afar. It will remain hanging on the wall and from a distance look incredible, but up close I'm afraid unfortunate."
