take it from a modern barbarian

"I purchased this hammer last week and it came in today, I must say it is by far better than the video shows. luckily for me I was off work so I spent part of my afternoon smashing cinder blocks , flower pots , and of course a jack o' lantern ( it is the season after all even carved the little fellow a face ) it turned those blocks to gravel , shattered the pots thoroughly , and smashed the pumpkin up really nice. the weight is perfect and the head of the hammer is attached very well , after all that smashing it didn't come loose at all. the grip is comfortable and the butt of the handle is fitted with a rubber cap. rather fitting since it's the perfect height to use for walking( I am 6 ft 2 in and it is at the right level for me to use as a cane if need be ) this hammer is worth every cent spent on it and it is far more durable than any sword. this is perfect for the barbarian in me, I am a big guy with a big beard and now the big weapon to boot. thank you true swords you've made a repeat customer out of me."

broke the 2nd time i used it

"indestructible is a poor way to describe this cheaply made plastic toy. the second time i ever took it out it broke on a tree that was barely even as thick as the handle. save your money and buy a sledgehammer from your local home improvement store."

Not strong enough

"It's a good concept. The hammer head itself is a monster. However the handle WILL NOT stand up to the abuse that the actual hammer can put out. Broke the handle 3rd screw down, slicing my thumb open. The company does NOT have replacement handles and will send you a smaller "hatchet type" handle totally defeating the purpose of having a WALKING HAMMER. Don't do it."

"This hammer is extremely durable. After roughly 1 hour of abuse this hammer is still intact and is barely damaged. It smashes through 2x4s, plywood, concrete, various metal objects, archery targets, and just about everything in my backyard. Good fun for the whole family!"

Not intended for breaching anything seriously hardened or reinforced, but will work fine with against most consumer-level Home Depot construction materials. As for doubling as a cane, I look forward to pulling a Gandalf and stating, "Oh, you wouldn't part an old man from his walking stick?""
