"i have been away from this sight for a bit as life sometimes deals a hand which takes us down a road of struggle, this will be a bit winded, however, relevant, my opinion on this company, the service, and what it and the people within represents to me... my father served in the military, he was stationed in Okinawa and fell in love with the culture in terms of being morally sound and honorable, i learned japanese as a young child, no one ti speak it with - well - you lose what do not use... so swords of this make, the samurai- katana, wakisashi and tanto are near and dear to my heart in what they represent, tradition, honor, perfection of craft, strength, and so much more through the cultures they represent, with that, i am not rich, now, i am just an old lady (yup - Danny is a woman), who lives her swords, i have begun to rise from that struggle, i am back, i lost this sword to a storm, weather damaged it while it was in a storage unit as i recovered from a divorce of a life-long marriage, lesson there... always make sure you keep your ability to be independant at all times!!! NO MATTER WHAT! i love the service, the people are very responsive, very courteous and rapid in response time, a great company and when i am financially available to do something for myself - i will be back here to get THIS sword!!! it is beautiful, and everything it is stated to be, a magnificent piece for any collection or even a zombie weapon (although, i personally would go for the wakisashi and tanto for zombies...), just sayin. Awesome company! i highly recommend, and i will be back!"

Beautiful Katana

"My katana finally came in this afternoon. It really is a very nice piece. It came well oiled and wrapped in saran wrap in the Saya. All hardware is very tight, the Tuba and Ito is wrapped very tightly and is nicely done. The blade was well executed and the edge on mine was serviceable, however just five minutes with my Accusharp sharpener brought it to a fine razors edge. It now slices paper like a razor blade. I am very happy with this sword and would recommend it to others considering this item. Now I have to clean it, buff out the blade and oil it up."

Wicked Hamon!

"Really nice sword for the money. Very well balanced. The blade is beautiful to look at. The hamon is incredible. It took some oiling and a little polish to really shine. I will post pictures and a review on Amazon also. Worth the money for the step up from the Musashi Silver line, which is also great and I practice with the Elegant Crane model all the time. Musashi and True Swords make a great team. Great products and prices! Ive got my eye on the san mai model as we speak!"

Beautiful Sword

"I just received my Midnight Kame Katana. I can see why this sword it is rated so highly. I never expected to own a sword of this quality for the amount of money it cost. I was willing to play a couple of thousand dollars for a very nice sword but this sword is good enough... for now. The craftsmanship is very good, everything fits well and is solidly built. The blade is strong, heavy and straight, sharp but can even be made sharper. Thanks True Sword Company for not "sticking it to us buyers." You have great products at more than fair prices! I Salute you and will continue to buy more swords from you!"

"I purchased the sword with an open mind not really knowing if i would be impressed with a $200 dollar sword. Ive studied japanese weapons for years so my expectations were not that high. However, this particular sword has rather impressed me a great deal. For the price it is very well made. Everythings tight even the saya. The tsuka is well done and sturdy. The details on the tsuba are crisp and well finished. The blade has no visible flaws other than the bo-hi doesnt terminate properly but ive seen katanas much more expensive do the same. There where no dings or scratches on the saya. The blade could use a polish or just an acid etch. The folds are very visable. Superb job musashi. Trueswords delivered right on time and their customer service is second to none. Def five stars."

"just got this sword today it is amazing detail is awesome pegs where about half inch to big sanded them down but sword is amazing solid construction and the support from the staff at trueswords was amazing as well ill be for sure buying more if not all my swords from them"

I have been dealing with

"I have been dealing with True Swords for about six months now. I think it is important to ask questions about your purchases before purchasing. Had I done that, I would certainly have saved myself much time. Ultimately, I ended up buying this folded elite midnight kame katana. It was worth all the stuff I went through getting to this one. I love it! It is beautiful. I think the edge was a little less sharp then presented in the ad, and one of the pegs sticks quite a bit out of the handle so I will have to fix that along with maybe sharpening it before doing any cutting with it. Overall, I give this a four stars. I think it is an awesome blade for the price. Customer care in this company is amazing. I have never experienced customer care like this EVER!"
