Great blade for the price only bad thing is my Habaki had damage on it so did the tsuba.

Hey I know you are thinking what i was thinking????? this must be a cheap sword????? wrong answer,,,,, this is a great quality sword at a cheap price, and recieved it in only 3 days after ordering it. well pleased, the sword is razor sharp ,top quality product at a great price would sum up the sword I got, 5 plus stars for me :-)

Great feel, excellent design, razor sharp. It just arrived today and i love it.

Ordered late on a tuesday evening arrived about 9a.m. thursday.Could have been sharper but was sharp enough to cut through not rip through the box it came in ,water bottles ,buddy bottles and pool noodles, even cut through the 55 gallon heavy plastic drum i use for a bottle stand with ease and no damage to the blade or fittings.For $60 this blade has decent geometry which im sure is why it cuts this well while being this dull.Hmmm the accusharp?No way,this thing destroys decent blade geometry,do it right and learn to use stones,save the accusharp knife sharpener for your knives.Enough ranting about the accudemon.Fittings are all tight,with a fairly tight ito wrap.If you plan on spending $60 bucks on a sword you cant go wrong with any musashi from this series.Musashi rules the economy cutting class.

I just received my very first katana sword and I love it! I don't know too much about these swords other than the little I have read about them but the sword does feel very solid. It has nice details and looks more expensive than it really is. This is the first katana of many more to come in the near future!

This sword is great! Much better then I expected for the price. This is a pretty awesome deal! Feels very solid. None of the parts wiggle around at all. Mine wasn't all that sharp when I got it, but I ordered an Accusharp sharpener with it, used it, and now the sword is extremely sharp and cuts very neatly. The saya on mine is a tiny bit loose where the habaki fits into the koiguchi, but nothing major, not a big deal to me.<br />I love the detail and artwork on this sword. I'm really happy with this purchase and will be recommending to friends. I'll be coming back for more. Thanks Musashi and Trueswords.com!

just got this sword today, and i have to say im impressed. I've handled alot of blades, and even done custom work to my own, and this sword has exceeded my expectations from this price range. all fit and finish is great, no bends or nicks in the blade. overall im definitley glad i bought one.

First of all.... I'd like to say to all the mall sword shops out there... You just got owned... This has to be one of if not the best swords for your money right now... The whole Musashi line of swords are a steal... Plus TS has awesome service... Very fast delivery... Will be referring everyone I know that collects to this site...

I did a bunch of research, looked at this sword, read all the reviews, and I had high hopes-but its even better than I expected! Everything on the sword looks and feels great. I've tested it on all the plastic bottles and jugs I have in my house. I filled them all with water, and did every possible type of swing and it performed fantastic. It cut everything like butter. I started out with just normal waterbottles, then I moved up to thicker gatorade and even really thick gallon apple juice containers. Will cut anything on the first try with a 45 degree angle cut, but to cut a thick container with a strait down chop-you'll have to use full force(be carefull!). Its pretty sharp. I have even hit concreate with this(on accident) and it only made a couple tiny dings in the blade. Overall I think this is a good sword.

I really enjoy this blade it is very well balanced and has a good weight to it i havent checked how sharp the blade is just because I dont want to chance hurting myself or any of my friends i like the design on it it was prefectly done and is very well placed around the blade and hilt but i say that the gods on tthe back facing me should be facing towards the oppent instead of how it is.

I was very satisfied with the sword. For the price it cost, it is definetly a great deal. It did better than I thought it would for my cutting tests. The habaki looked a little rusty on one side as if someone's fingerprint stained on it...Yet again, I can't blame people for not being able to resist getting fingerprints all over a sword. Just be sure to keep the sword oiled (not with organic oil) to keep this from happening any further. I wish the seppas would be put on so that the "CHINA" isn't showing, but it's easy to disassemble and flip it around so it doesn't show. I don't like disassembleing though because it can mess with the original fittings. Overall, great sword.

Just got the sword today, Very Sturdy, full tang, dual bamboo pegs, light, only issue is that the hand guard (tsuba) rattled a lot. I adjusted it and it seems to be okay for now but that still put a damper on the whole exciting initial unboxing reaction. Got it engraved too. Very nice job. 4 / 5 stars because of the loose hand guard

First Sword! <br />Not as sharped as I hoped it to be. The gold paint on the tsuba is rushed so they did a poor job. The blade was oiled but dirty. Bits of crap on it. Hard to pull out of saya. <br />But<br />Its a really nice looking sword! I love the little details at the end of the handle and the ornament inside the wrappings of the handle. You notice the artistic quality on this sword at every little details. Its just the painting was done poorly but everything else looks nice! It can't cut paper as smoothly with ease but maybe it's because I did it wrong. Overall, I LIKE IT!!! <br />took 5 days for it to come to california.

i'm a pocket knife collector and purchased this as a gift for a friend, couldnt believe it. it has a nice heft to it and was pretty sharp, fit and finish seem good. All in all seems like a decent piece and for the money cant be beat. <br />couldnt be happier!<br />excellent service trueswords!

my first katana, my fault I should have cleared the area better sliced the bottle clean but the follow through hit the leg of a plastic table so now I have a dented blade would have thought the edge would hold up better.

ok ..careful with the sheath the paint chips easily another thing ..DONT USE WHEN ITS COLD OUTSIDE! it bends very easily and youll have to make it straight with a hammer and the handle wrap stays still but looks all smashed after a few months of use and the blade is easily scratches and rusts so KEEP IT OILED!! and the gold work on the tsuba was badly don and scratches off easily thats all i have to say idk maybe mine came from another forge ..which musashi often does
