Great blade, Cane isn't metal though.
"When ordered was told 7-10 days. It got to me in 3! The sword - beautiful and extremely well-crafted blade. It was oiled nicely and definitely has sharp edges. The handle feels great. My only complaint here is that the push button is a little off causing it to "stick" for a few seconds before retracting. I may be able to fix this. The cane - this is mainly where the complaints are. It does feel sturdy, yet extremely light for a "metal shaft". I had to cut it (I'm 5'9'') to a length of 34". Since the description says that it is a metal shaft, I grabbed my metal cutting blade only to find out it's wooden all the way through. Some advertise that in a "situation" you could use the scabbard in your off hand for striking or defense. I guarantee if you strike someone with it it WILL break. If someone were to strike it (even like a karate shop) it WILL break. Overall I'm not terribly disappointed, however with the mention of a "metal" shaft and no mention of what type of wood this even is, I have to leave 3 stars for the fast shipping and the premium blade."

Great Blade, But. . . .
"This is my first True Swords purchase. The company has been great to work with. The blade on the sword cane is solid. It has a better cutting edge than most other sword canes, which are only good for thrusting. The issue, as many other reviews have stated, is with the quality of the sheath. It clatters loudly, the cane tip is cheap, and after two days, the metal trim beneath the blade on the cane side came off. I've glued it back together and ordered a new cane tip, but I'm still looking for the right material to stop it from rattling (and exposing it as an obvious sword cane). I'd pay another $50 for a better sheath, but with this being made in China, I guess its to be expected."

- What type of steel? Is there return policy?
- This is made with Damascus steel and we have a 60 day return policy.
- Can the cane portion be cut down any at all for a shorter person say around 5’6” tall
- The cane can be cut down however we do not recommend it as it was not designed to be cut.
- Is the blade sharp when received? Is the blade a full tang into the handle? Where would I get new end tips when ones on the cane are worn? Lastly, is this mainly designed as to be a wall decoration or to be used as a cane?
- This item is not razor sharp but does have an edge. The blade does not go all the way into the handle. Tips can be purchased at any local hardware store or Walmart. This item is designed to either be displayed or used.
- How do you get rid of the rattle?
- The blade should not rattle however you can try checking the piece where the blade attaches to the handle as it just screws in and twist to tighten.
