The Sokojikara Kitsune Katana represents the pinnacle of traditional Japanese swordcraft, meticulously handcrafted using only the finest materials for both visual appeal and remarkable strength. The full-tang, 28 1/3" T10 high carbon steel blade is hand-forged by expert swordsmiths using centuries-old techniques, including the revered clay tempering process. The elegant tsuka is wrapped in delicately textured genuine ray skin and tawny braided ito, secured by traditional wooden mekugi and adorned with brass menuki. The iron tsuba, accented by intricate branch relief, adds a touch of timeless beauty to this masterpiece. The wine-red wooden saya, featuring distinctive black spatter and angular beveling, completes the aesthetic with complementary sageo. "First off beautiful... Love the sword but some things to consider, it has no blood grove, something I over looked when ordering it and they do have other t10 steels with it so I'm not sure why not have one, seems standard. This is my 1st t10 blade and it's very forward heavy but I do lift weights and that hefty tank feel is exactly what I look for in a sword. All tho the weight combined with the curve in the blade makes it want to roll slightly in the hand. I was concerned with the red case bit it's a little darker than pics so it's a better shade red than it looks. Excellent sword tho, truly has that cut thru anything feel to it."

My husband loves it

"I got it for my husband as an anniversary gift and he loves it. He loves the hamon line and he went as far as to give the sword a Japanese name Utskushi Arashi in English means Beautiful Storm."
