"Its a wall hanger yes, but its eye candy to say the least. Mine in particular came extremely dirty, as if were the display model re-wrapped, seriously, it had more finger prints than... I got nothing. Anyway, it required some cleaning to say the least. Underneath the mess was a well finished and straight blade, which surprised me, there's usually some bends, this one has none. The "weathered" look on the plated brass if fairly good, some spots darker than others and its quite glossy all around despite its aged appearance. My only real gripe would be the plaque, the mounting hardware for the both the wall and sword are off. The vertical mounts in the back aren't even and at an angle. The front as well, the sword will sit with a cant to it unless your wedge something under a horse ear to level it out. As far as the wall goes, it doesn't weigh enough to require to screws so just put one at the top and adjust it as needed. All in all I thought it was a good deal. Unless you have to have the fancy box sleeve from the previous run which somehow makes it a $350 on eBay............"
