Product Description
This is one of the most unique push daggers you will see! The innovative design element that makes it unique is the handle, which was inspired by a pistol grip. As a self-defense or tactical weapon, it is easy and comfortable to handle. It has a 5” tactical black stainless steel blade with serrations and the blade comes to a sharp point. The dagger can be carried in the included nylon belt sheath, which allows it to be pulled like a firearm.

Okay, so it's been almost a month and I have officially beat the snot out of this $20 knife as well as made some simple modifications that made the item a bit better. It has been my daily EDC heavy blade and it has suffered greatly, but never failed me. I maintain that the stock sheath is horrible but functional. Mine rides in an inside the waistband kydex unit that is absolutely wonderful. It took me three prototypes to get the kydex sheath JUST the way I wanted it, though... I have my time and MAYBE $5 of material in the sheath. Buy it for the beauty of a knife and not the sheath. Mods: Built a good sheath. Re-profiled the bottom (primary) edge to a shallower angle (20 degrees). Re-profiled the glass-breaker pommel to a pyramid shape (like the original SERE1). Rounded the edges of the handle 'riser', the 'stem' between blade and handle (again, like the original SERE1). Not much effort to make a good knife even better. I think I did more to my Marfione Sigil to get it the way I wanted it... This $20 knife has quickly become my favorite heavy use EDC blade. After using (abusing?) it for a month, I am 100% confident in it's integrity and strength and 0% worried about scratching/breaking/losing/hurting it. That alone is worth more than $20! Yeah, I had to make a sheath. Yeah, it needed a bit of 'work' to make it shine even brighter. Yeah, the black coating wears off easily. SO WHAT?! It's 20 bucks! If you're looking for something unusual that is actually entirely practical, try one of these. All of the original ERatio designers' unique perspectives on what functional utility REALLY is, is embodied in this lesser expensive model too. Now having owned, carried and used this tool daily for a month, I am sold on the design as well as the capability of this Black Legion model. My recommendations to Black Legion on a future model: Change NOTHING with the knife. Include a decent abs or kydex sheath and charge $10 more per unit. Look to the original ER sheath design for design clues. Great, great buy!
Buy 4; you'll be happy you did. Sheaths kinda suck, but the knife is amazing. 4.5mm thick blade stock, full tang, sharpened seat belt cutter on top edge just like the ERatio version. Really nice for $20.
So,after seeing this and waiting for weeks for it to be in stock and another almost two weeks to arrive, it's here! First; the sheath is utter crap. Complete garbage. Just plan on making a new one or at the very least, reconfiguring the stock one. Please consider though; this knife is $20. That said... The KNIFE is wonderful! Full tang stock is 4.5mm thick and the hardness pings at 61 HRc average across 5 pings on an ISO9001 controlled Mitutoyo hardness tester. Blade grinds are clean and quality throughout is very good. The swedge on the top backside that is unseen in photos IS sharpened just like the SERE1 for use in cutting seatbelts and rope (and I thought I'd have to grind that in myself on the surface grinder...NOPE!). DOUBLE edged, so plan on dulling down the top edge if your state prohibits d/e blades. Functionally sharp from the box and with little work takes and holds a shaving edge. Hammer and glass breaker on handle, just like the SERE1, but not done as well. Have I mentioned it's $20?... Processes meat, vegetables, wood and cordage well. I can understand why the ERatio designers did what they did, now. With a little work to the knife and the making of a nice, kydex sheath, this is an unbelievable deal! I bought TWO and need to order four more. Yeah, they are THAT amazing, even with the issues that I consider minor. If you've been desiring an ER SERE1 and struggle with the cost, buy four of these, do the odd work to them, build real sheaths and be $250 min, ahead! LOVE mine!
