Would rate zero stars if possible, I was expecting a cheap trinket for the price but it doesn't even qualify as that. What kind of swords blade just falls off after being out of the box for less than ten minutes. I knew the blades would be dull and flimsy, but to just fall off is a new one for me

Made of pipe, and cheap press fit couplings. Mine has flown apart 3 times and that was even being very careful after the first time. Once you weld or epoxy the pieces together and find a good foam for the blades to sheath into, sharpen the blades, and some leveling, it won't be to bad. You get what you pay for eh?

Dull blades. Detail in some places not so good. Blades were very dirty when first opened. Otherwise very happy with it.

Wasted money

This futuristic sword looks awesome don't get me wrong but it feel apart within a couple of days. the piece holding the blade on broke off with the switch used to open it, now it is ridiculously hard to open. It still looks coll when screwed together and open, only reason this got 2 stars and not one

Waste of money!

Just wasn't for me! I was going to send it back, but one of my sons wanted it. He ask me what was wrong with it? Just a waste of my money.

Fun Fantasy Swords

It is a fun Fantasy weapon to play with. Like it says it's a Fantasy Swords. When they are clipped together with blades inside it rattles some. When open Blades are very solid and somewhat sharp. They are Stainless Steel so harder to get sharp but once sharp holds the edge. It's a fun time playing with this blade. Again, it's a Fantasy Sword so it's made for fun not battle and for that it's an excellent Sword.

Very Cool, small issues

This is a very cool weapon, but like everything, it has its flaws. When the two blades are put together and it is used as a baton, it rattles and seems as if one side may fly off when you swing it. Mine has not, but it feels like it. One of my blades is a little loose and kinda rattles but is very useable. Mine did not come with a sheath, but I didn't really care because I don't really like sheaths. The locking part doesn't actually lock, but can slide open when swinging the baton part. When you screw them together, it can unscrew easily unless if you tighten it very much. It is a very nice weapon and I love it.

Good but has caveats

Got this and while not totally happy with it, not totally unhappy either. The good: excellent weight for blunt striking in baton mode, screw attachment system holds blades securely, all metal construction means durability. Not-so-good: blades are better for stabbing than for slicing unless particular skill and patience are used to sharpen the edges, don't seem to hold an edge all that well, blades are very light and have some flex to them which means they might break if over-stressed, locking mechanism can be problematic and breakable. My advice is to not click the blades back together without first sliding the lock button to the open position first, much like when closing a pocket watch. Overall, this item is very cool and can serve some actual use but please be responsible and don't misuse this weapon. It can certainly be used as a striking baton and is capable of doing serious damage. As twin blades there isn't much chance of cutting yourself unless the edges are sharpened and even then… but they are effective as stabbing weapons so can also cause serious damage/harm. Quite useful if held with opposing grips, that is, hold one with the blade facing away and hold the other reversed so the blade lies along your forearm and you can still use them as blunt strikers when they are separated. When locked together forming the staff configuration its center weight balance can make it rather fast and excellent for defense. You may not get much out of a slicing strike but very useful with a penetrating strike. I wish I could give it a higher rating but had too many drawbacks for it to earn more stars and still, I do recommend it as long as you're willing to accept it for what it is. It would also make a great companion to the United Cutlery Samurai 3000 Futuristic Ninja Sword as the designs are very similar to one another though I do not actually own that particular sword so I'm basing that on what I have seen. If this seems of interest then go ahead and buy it.
