Good But...

Let me start this by saying this is a review of a 20 dollar blade. i wasn't expecting much but i did expect the thing to hold together. after something like 20 or so swings the grip was hand removable from the sword. after that i noticed that the tsuba is hot glued on and is not even the right size for the tang. the entire gem assembly came loose after that as though it was not glued on. the fix for this however was to take the whole tsuba and gem assembly off and JB epoxy weld the blade into the grip and then wrap and glue a new wrapping of high strength leather over the whole thing. its still a bit loose but over all i can practice with the blade now. Over all the blase itself is quite nice and will easly cut mats and water bottles with ease after a bit of sharpening as the blade came almost flat dull. the blade is the part of the whole sword i am impressed with. good weight and a very elegant shape almost like a saber and a katana had a baby.

just recived this beautiful sword.. very well made.. its got weight and legnth that dwarfs my other blades, it is wide from hi to edge and is very sharp... the faux gems on either side of the blade are held tightly with the glue used to secure them and it really brings a unique look to the sword ... however full tang would be better than the half tang but i am still very pleased with it anyway.. thank you for another great addition to my collection ..

i have a few minor issues with this sword.
1st. the gem loosk like it was glued to the sword very sloppily i had to scrape a small amount of glue off the blade with my nail.

2nd. the blade was very dirty when i received it nothing bad just had to wipe it off

3rd. the kashira was scratched up not too bad but its noticeable.

4th. the saya is very loose when the blade is sheathed
Other than that i dont have any complaints. i plan on doing plenty more shoping with true swords but for once i was kinda disappointed but still happy with the purchase none the less

Very awsome blade. The only problem was with the red gem and a small area aound them. As with others who bought this sword there was some film on the gem and one the blade around it. Wasnt to hard to get rid of. Overall an great buy. One of the coolest blades in my collection so far.

this is a very cool blood+ sword and it's pretty sharp. It could be just me but it seems a little heavy. the blade has a few scratches on the blade and kashira, but other than that it is a great sword

At first when i saw this sword i was SO excited. And i bought it becuase I love Blood+ and the first sword from the series that this site reproduced was really good. But when i got it i was a little dissapointed. I don't know if it was from the shipping, or what, but it seemed like the sword was just thrown together...the sheath is scratched and the jewel looks like it has glue on it and a little dingy. But if you liked the first sword I think this is a good addition becuase it isn't that bad.
