Self Defense

According to FBI Uniform Crime Reporting statistics, a violent crime occurs somewhere in the United States every 22.1 seconds. True Swords supports your right to defend yourself against potential attackers. We carry a wide selection of Self Defense items to accommodate different situations.

Baton Police have been using Batons for hundreds of years, and now you can own one too. We offer manually extending batons in 16', 21", and 26" lengths, or a 20" automatic baton that opens with the touch of a button. All of our collapsible batons come with sheathes, allowing you to attach them to your belt and prepare for all situations. When you are not carrying the baton, they are ideal for placement in easy-to-reach close quarters, such as a nightstand or drawer.

Defense Stick Just as effective as a baton, is the Cold Steel Smasher. At both the 29" and 34" lengths, these bats are highly durable, made specifically for self defense. Unlike conventional baseball bats, these are made from nonporous material, designed to withstand the elements. They are the perfect length to store alongside your seat.

Defense Spray For our customers that want concealed defense, but do not want to carry a weapon such as a baton, we have multiple types of Pepper Spray. There are smaller pocket sprays, which can be carried in your pocket or purse, attached to your key chain, arm, or leg, or even disguised as a pen. Similar to batons, pepper spray can be used as effective control too. Our Sabre pepper fogger has a range of 25 feet, with a heat of 2,000,000 scoville units; capable of subduing a violent attacker. Last on our list of pepper sprays, and certainly not least, is our Bear Attack Deterrent. This spray is no joke; if you are an avid hiker, camper, or outdoorsman, you should consider carrying a can with you. Strong enough to fend off a bear, this spray will also defend you against bobcats, wolves, and rabid animals.

Lock Pick

Along with batons, Handcuffs have been the choice of police officers for decades. We have double locking leg cuffs, double locking handcuffs, and even SWAT Issue hinge handcuffs, for further wrist movement restraint. Although all of our handcuffs come with keys, we recommend carrying an extreme quality swivel handcuff key. Heat treated for strength and machined for a universal fit, this key is virtually indestructible, and attaches to your keychain. We also have high quality handcuff holders for both the regular, and SWAT Issue handcuffs. Handcuffs are not the only thing you will find yourself needing to unlock, which is why we have multiple types of Lock Picks. We have the same Slim Jim that many car garages use to unlock car doors, as well as lock pick sets ranging from Easy to Professional. Do not be intimidated by the art of lock picking, we sell the complete guide.

Club Protection The last method of self defense, and undoubtedly the most intimidating, is our 21" Spiked Barbarian Club. It is made of solid hardwood, with over 20 piercing metal spikes. Pick this club up by it's sculpted handle, and you will send intruders fleeing in terror. This is not a decorative replica, this fully functional barbarian club is the real thing.

Lol, spiked barbarian club = self defense? I'll carry that one around in my pocket, so if someone tries to mug me I'll whip it out and hit them and say my catch phrase: "SELF DEFENDED!".

Interesting observation that the most crime-riddled states are the ones on the restricted shipping list. So much for self defense...

I work in an ER in Baltimore & have done so for 20 yrs. One of the most brutal cities in the USA.
Rule #1- NEVER underestimate your opponent.
Rule #2- Have superior skills and weapons.
Rule #3- No mercy, take no quarter, just finish the job!!!
Be prepared and protect yourself at all times.
I'm buyin' some of this stuff to add to my "collection."
Peace and Be Well to all the good Guys (and Gals)

Hey, this is just me holding my new Barbarian Club walking down the street... Why isn't anyone muging me?
:(
by Cody @ 24 May 2008 09:22 pm
I imagine that club would make someone deficate in their pants if they were stalking someone and they pulled it out.
o.o
by Matthew @ 07 Sep 2008 01:40 pm
That club looks so intimidating. I want one!
by thomas @ 19 Apr 2009 08:31 am
well quit frankly i would go with the baton, its much more agile and that club is ok and all but because of its weight its really only good for down swings and seeing as it is a replica it would break when you try to test it now the baton is evenly weighted and much easier to use
by thomas @ 19 Apr 2009 08:36 am
sorry my bad its not a replica. but still i stand by what i said and for most of you those states on the restricted list they are there to save your lives muggers dont use knifes anymore they use guns so dont try and go play hero its just not smart
by Wing Zero @ 11 May 2009 03:32 am
The baton seems more practical. LOVE the Club! personally my martial arts would work better with the baton for maximum damage. Club needs no training, holding it would scare the !@#$ out of anyone!
by Jman @ 15 May 2009 06:12 pm
SWEET! That club would be awesome to have the only thing is dont use it for a toy lol and where in the world would you put it when your not using it?
by Fucking Barbarian Club! @ 17 May 2009 09:20 pm
A Knife vs a Barbarian Club? Lol
by Richard @ 20 May 2009 12:30 am
I'd go with the Baton for several Reasons; 1. Someone would call the cops if you were walking down the street with a big ass spiked club in your hands. 2. The tip of the Baton is what gets all the force, easily enough to shatter a skull, the Club, not so much. And finally, the Baton is CONCEALABLE! The club is not.
by Isaac @ 25 May 2009 09:23 pm
Brooklyn Smasher, all the way. Sap gloves are pretty sweet, too.
by Pete @ 26 May 2009 03:21 am
LOL, the mugger will probably give u his own wallet if u got a spiked club!
by Gelatin_dessert_man @ 12 Jul 2009 03:34 pm
I thought I'd seen it all on this sight. Battle katar, warrior spear, but that club is by far the most brutal thing i've seen on this sight so far!
by Alex Rhodes @ 14 Aug 2009 01:55 am
Ok seeing the spiked barbarian club just made my day lol i personally just carry a sword cane much more inconspicuous then the club methinks lol love this page.
