Exquisite hand-folded, heat-forged Damascus steel! This top-quality Shikoto Yoru Doragon tanto sword features a heavy blade with 1792 layers of premium Damascus steel that's been hand sharpened and honed to a razor-sharp edge.
Custom details such as the cast zinc alloy tsuba and pommel, ray skin handle and leather wrappings give this tanto sword a custom, one-of-a-kind look and feel. As each blade is individually heat forged and hand folded, no two are alike. The brass habaki and menuki add even more authenticity to this Samurai treasure.
A custom-designed, high-gloss lacquered hardwood scabbard houses the massive 11" blade in true Samurai style. The Yoru Doragon tanto measures 18 3/4" in overall length.
The Damascus pattern is stunning. All fittings are tight and impressive. Good shipping time! Very happy! Thanks!
Just got this in the mail today...Man, I'm I pleased with this tanto...Great quality and price...A must have for any serious collector.
I got this one last week, and when look at it for the first time it is beautiful, however, when I unwrap the wrap and dismember it, it turns out to be chinese made, cheap and rush-finishing tanto that you can find in any mall. I have been deal with swords and knife since I was 5 and I know this is not the knife that you should trust. I am thinking about returning mine, and plz don't trust the commercial.
This sword is a absolute beast as far as quality is concerned. I had a few issues with the postal service but otherwise the sword shipped here fast and lived up to expectations. Its sharp, but not quite as sharp as i was expecting however that's something thats easily fixed. The leather sheath is great and the engravings add a sense of might and strength to it, like something you can be proud to own. All in all I had a coupon and it was on sale but even if it wasnt on sale its definitely worth the price. The only reason this isnt a firm 5/5 on here is because of the edge as i said i was hoping for something a bit sharper but thats the ONLY issue here otherwise its flawless. If any of you have the urge to get this thing I promise you its completely worth it.
Impressed as usual! The quality is amazing, Ordered 3 of these and they all have their own distinctive personality! TrueSwards shipped them to my door in under a week. Very nice work to all involved, I will be back!
well I got this today for my 14th birthday it is amazing. Even though it's technically a dagger I dont care its the best sword ive bought. the only other swor d i got was 20 dollar peice of crap that ended up being a ninjato that is pretty good. meow
This tanto is awesome! It was worth every penny. The handle feels great when you hold it because of the leather wrapping on it. This is the first fully functional sword I have. You can cut skinny branches with it really good. I love the damascus pattern on the blade. It has a great weight to it for its small size. It feels very sturdy when you hold and use it. It you are considering buying it you should definetely buy it.Thank you BUDK !
Bought this a while back and liked it so much I decided to collect the wakisashi and katana to complete the set. The tanto is not made in the 16 century style but is a very nicely made pattern welded steel with simple but elegant adornment. The edge came working sharp but with a light honing it became wickedly sharp. The handle wrap was tight and very well done. The sheath did not fit until I wet the opening and widened it with folded paper then let it dry. Works perfect after that. For the price and a very small amount of tuning you can be a ninja too :-)
Beautiful Damascus Steel! Even better than I expected! I love the heft and balance of this Tanto and with a little fine tuning, is sharp enough to cut paper with it's own weight! The only fault I find is that the leather sheath gives the blade "sheath rash" meaning that it makes the areas that the leather presses against shiny and detracts from the attractive Damascus folding pattern on the blade. I would have expected to pay twice the amount for a blade of this quality! I was so impressed with the quality and price that I immediately bought the matching Katana and Wakizashi. I LOVE BUD K!!!!!
just got this in the mail . sword is extremely good looking and a razor took .i it out an filled up two detergent set them side by cut through both in one effortless motion!!!
