Military Surplus Czech M10M Gas Mask with Filters

Mask appears very high quality. I like it for the low facial profile. No big cans hanging of the front. Hope it is effective if need be!

This mask is very similar (if not the same) to the ones we used in Vietnam. Even though I originally bought this for a joke present I am happy to say that it is of the highest quality. I believe it would be effect protection in most situations.

I ordered 3 masks for me my wife and son and they are perfect a few minor dings here and there but I am very happy with the masks and I am very impressed with shipping got them in one day! I bought one on a whim. So far it stood up to a face full of chlorine gas for 2 minutes straight and it still works. then about 10 in a room that was bug bombed like crazy. No residual smells, problems breathing, and I am confident in saying it would survive serious stuff like nuclear or viral attacks. filters are hard to come by but they work like a dream. Also got maced with it on 2 just to check the eye seals. no problems. :)

Always awesome to have a gas mask handy. Fun to use and the filters are awesome!!!! I researched more about it, this gas mask is the M-10M which is was made about 30 years ago, made for police use for tear gas, the filters still work on most but are getting to their expiration point. Great buy for price and i have already ordered my next order from true swords

This thing is amazing! Fits perfectly on my face and you can tell it is new, it has the nasty rubber smell! An awesome purchase for anyone! The bag is a nice piece too.

i bought one of these for myself about 8 months ago and loved it, it came with the same bag as shown here, the gas mask is awesome, allthough getting the filters in is A PAIN, the matterial irritated my skin and it was an extremely tight fit, BUT i got them in! hooray! unlike the russian gas masks this one has a voice box, (that wierd looking circle in the center of the face) and when you speak wearing it you can easily be understood, which is bloody brilliant.<br />Anyways, i actually bought one for a birthday present for a friend and struggled to get the filters in (AGAIN) and oddly enough there was a wierd strap on his that i didnt get on mine, and i cant figure what it does exactly accept for getting in the way.....<br />also his came with a bag that is not shown here, but the bag that came on his is much nicer than the one shown, the second bag being of a nice canvas like matterial and the bag shown being an odd cheap plastic like material.<br /><br />1 more thing, i did a little reading and these gas masks are not up to date to todays chemichal\biological warfare needs and the czecks actually designed these for the police force to protect against tear gas, and they are inadequite for most everything else, but its beter than nothing i suppose.<br /><br />great purchase Thanks true swords!

i thought i was really neat i liked the whole thing about it its wears really good and i thoughtt it was going to be chessey but all around very good a must buy if your looking for a comfort fit... : )

Very nice,in all sealed packages , takes about 5 mins and some work to get the filter in. Only problem would be long term , if you had to change filters in a CBRN NBC type invironment you would be dead or hurting , but for as long as the filters last its great. If you are preping for a long term NBC CBRN event i would go with an external filter mask OR buy 2 , so you could change the filter on one while wearing the other.

Ordered two of these. Mine came with drinking tubs and canteen adapters for them, an unexpected plus. Also ordered extra filters. Not sure which was replacement and which original but one set of filters came sealed in foil, the other in an airtight plastic bag. Both masks went together as designed. Kind of a pain, but vets experienced with the old M17 style masks with cheek filters will find it very similar. They seal to my face fine (large male, 7 3/4 hat size). Only problem is one mask is missing the harness/straps that hold it on your head. Emailed customer service, hopefully they can send one to me without returning the mask for an exchange, will update when I know.

I ordered 2 of these. Quality seems decent. They were brand new. One came with drinking tube the other didn't. The one with the drinking tube had a white chalky type powder stuff on it. There was no manual, I just guessed that the extra eye pieces went over top of the existing ones.The filters I received are brand new in the foil package, I hope what a couple people on here said is not true about them possibly being toxic if they are old, that would suck.The picture shows some rubber plugs that didn't come with either of mine. Over all a decent product, Hope I never really need it.

Is a good mask, sad I didn't get any back straps to hold it to my head. :/

The shipping was kind of long, but the mask is great .I found out later that it only filters tear gas. And it is NOT the m10m, or at least what i received was not. The m10m has a drinking tube, this is the m10 gas mask. Over all, good for a collection, but it wouldn't protect you from anything, because the filter are probably old too.

awesome piece but it lacks the paperwork for basic assembly for us non-military. took me about half an hour to figure out how the filter fit in and assemble

Gas mask was missing filter parts and was in poor condition when I received the product.
