Ridge Runner Montana Toothpick Bowie Knife with Sheath

I bought this knife about a week-and-a-half ago and have been putting it through some rigorous tests ever since. I work for a local tree service and have been using this beautiful bowie in place of a chainsaw for removing smaller branches. It hacks through them like butter and has yet to go dull. It's quickly become my EDC. I read the reviews and knew that I would be getting a decent knife for the money, but I never expected it to become the absolute favorite of my collection. Trust me, take the risk and spend the $20, you won't regret it.

The Montana Toothpick is a great knife, razor sharp beautifully cut blade, the handle is made for comfort. I made leather sheaths for these knives. Thank you Daniel of Nebraska.

Great knife! Sheath could be better but if you want an excellent knife for this price go for it. I would just say change the sheath, Sharp edge and fits well in the hand. Velcro strap on the sheath doesn't cut it. put on a snap ring. If your going to sell a great product to Americans that care about product quality don't cheapen it by Velcro. All in all good buy.

My knife just arrived and I was thoroughly impressed. For the money, you can't go wrong with this one. I looked mine over and it appears to be virtually flawless. Best 13 bucks I've spent in a long time. The sheath is crap, but I bought it to build a custom sheath anyway. What it came with will work just fine until I get the good one finished.

Quite a nice knife. Arrived very sharp. Balances exactly at the guard. Looks well made. The sheath can use an upgrade, but it is sufficient to hold the knife. I am so impressed with this knife that I already ordered another!!

such a great knife useful on thr trails and bruch country. strong enough to split small camp logs and just right for a short toss into our favorite little friend the diamond back hahahaha ive already had four perfect shots and its just wide enough that the snakes head gets cut off in one good throw but dont try this folks unless your used to camping in snaake country. the price is just so low for a quality full tang of this sort its crazy. i highly recomend this as a good looking and usefull trail knife. p.s. i guess its pretty enough to hang on your wall but down here in Texas we would laugh at you.

What a knife! It is huge and has some serious heft to it. For $10 bucks this knife is way beyond expectations. If you want a beautiful and functional knife for cheap this is it.

Another "keeper" here. Long, sharp, right weight for most anything you need a big knife for. Though I have farly large hands, it gripped well. This one is in my display....made a great addition to the collection.

Don't let the low price keep you from buying this knife. I expected it to be as cheap as the price but I was wrong. It is well made and sharp. I sharpened it till it shaves.

Man!! What a KNIFE!! This rascle is HUGE and sharp right out of the box. I HIGHLY recommend this bad boy to anyone. One of the best....so far. lol

This knife is a really good deal for 10 bucks. but honestly if you are buying this do not expect a 50 dollar knife it is a 10 dollar knife and thats what you are getting. now its a nice knife i love it. the picture does not do it justice but in person it is a lot better than expected. the pins holding in the tang or whatever. are...not of high quality and fell out when i was using it. so i just wrapped it in electrical tape. the handle that is. its a workhorse knife that you should not care about. just use it and if it breaks. get another. now the sheath..is okay its not very good and the velcro sucks. but h**l for 10 bucks its well worth it.

this is a great knife.its sharp out of the box and keeps the edge very well. i have had this knife for almost a year now and i have never had to sharpen it. the sheath is not the best its starting to brake a little but not that much that so you can see it.

All I have to say about this knife is it rocks. I cut through 1 inch branches with no problem and if you want this knife you should just buy it.

Awesome knife. It feels just right, the grip is very smooth and the blade is pristine and sharp right out of the box. Fantastic deal for sure.

As other reviews state, this is an awesome knife with a sub-par sheath. But at this price, I'll still give it 5 stars!

The total length on mine is 13-1/4" and the blade is 8-1/4" (not as advert. but no big deal either). The picture looks like it is a two-sided blade, but the top bevel is not honed to an edge. The blade has a matte finish and when polished with 2000 grit wet sandpaper and Flitz it looks great. The blade was not sharp out-of-the-box, which I like, and took an edge easily. Two minuses; One is that the blade/hand guard was just a bit loose, so I used some solder paste to fix it into place permanently. Second is that the handle is squared off and should be rounded (fixed that too). Considering the price it comes close to perfect; be prepared to either accept small flaws or to invest some time to customize it.

Bought this knife on a whim, I have and use knives regularly. Pretty impressed overall. The pieces of the handle and the dividing metal don't match well, giving some uncomfortable sharp edges in the grip. Filed the edges down and smoothed out the tang sides, and it feels 100% better, and only took 15 minutes to fix. All in all, holds an edge well, and will probably buy a couple more for presents.

paid about $13. with free shipping. The knife was very well made and attractive. you could not buy another knife like this anywhere else for the money. very pleased with this purchase

Good knife, just got it yesterday, brought it out too a fire with some freinds did fine getting a little wood when we were running low, over all a good knife. well worth the ten dollars

I got this knife from the reviews and found that the handle has a very small thickness. Along with the brass rivets sticking out a bit and not smooth/flush with the handle. The blade itself is nice and had a few burrs on it. Nice but far from 5 star.

I read the great overall reviews of this knife and thought I'd give it a try. The first thing I noticed what that the handle isn't pieced well and you can feel the joints of where the handle was put together. It appears that the hand is pieced together but there is no further finishing of the handle, so the handle doesn't end up with a smooth feel.
