Black Hornet Caltrop Tashibishi 10 Pack

These could be called replicas of the real thing. Nobody is going to sell something that will cut through the soles of someone's shoes. Think assault charges plus use of a dangerous weapon enhancement, paybacks, fire insurance and whatnot. This particular model can probably flat a 2 ply or worn 4 ply tire :sometimes: Order these and get an idea of how to make your own if you want a damaging anti-personel device.

Is this a joke? The ones on amazon are sharp and great. These are just dull and worthless. I bought a whole lot. They were all over the place in the box (not packaged well). But who cares about safety when they are so dull you can't cut yourself on them. Spend one dollar more and buy the ten pack set on amazon. Those were great. Thought I was saving money buying bulk here. Was wrong.

Very good quality for the price study and painful to step on

I had a guy snooping around the back yard looking to break into my shed and house. I scattered these bad boys around the window area of the shed and back door of the house. Came home one evening and saw the gate open, slight blood trail by the shed to the driveway, my neighbor (about 200 feet away) said he heard some guy cussing then a car drive away. Total of 5 Caltrop's were missing, probably stuck in his foot. That was 5 weeks ago, no sign of a return visit since.

i bought some of these about 20 years ago. Sealed up the house but left the bathroom window unlocked and slightly open. I spred these around the floor just below the window and put a very thin cover over them. I knew that i wa1s being targeted. Well let tell you something. the perp came in on both feet stepping on four or five caltrups. The screaming was loud (tennis shoes). well I had my pistol and just sat down on a chair outside the bathrooom door. After about 15 min the crying stopped. I holstered my weapon and walked into the bathroom as he was attempting to crawl out the window. I slammed the window shut on the b&e perp. caught him on the lumbar half in and half out. suspended is the proper word. after about 20 min he was begging for 911. caltrups were picked up blood was mopped up when ;911 arrived. I chose not to press charges. OH HOW HELPLESS HE WAS, HE CONFESSED, I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING,.

Great for placement under a window where a burglar may try to enter your home. Spread 15-20 hornets below the window on the floor about 6 inches from wall below window. Spread them out to about 1-1 1/4 feet so that the instant he puts feet down he will get 'stung'. If he comes in both feet first...well, the screams should wake you. Even with shoes on, the hornets are going to slow him down quite a bit, and he just might say the heck with this and bail back out. Think about it.

Very nice. very sharp. I actually took and compared the size of the spikes to the soles of my shoes, and the only ones they would not have gone through into the foot were some new hiking boots, which I had never actually worn.

Hmmm when i got these i have to say i was a lil disappointed all ten of them are exactly the same and all ten of them come in a box no bigger then a box for a golf ball, but i imagine they do still work and probably look even sweeter if you ordered more then 1.

These particular caltrops are a bit disappointing. They are not sharp at all. But with a bit of work you could get the points to where you want them. For the price not bad if you don't mind a little work.

Pretty disappointed with these, they're already smaller than i expected and every edge is dull so anyone wearing any type of shoe won't be deterred or hurt at all. Might try to find a way to sharpen them up
